Ha Ha ... what a stupid and desperate collection agency with totally inexperienced entry-level collectors

Billcollection agency. I get a call almost everyday from them.

This call comes through more than once a day; I haven't tried to find out if it is a marketing firm, a political organization, or anything else. I don't answer and would like them to let me alone.

Someone from this number called today and became increasingly sarcastic with my answers and disrespectful in his replies. This is not a professional service with people making legitimate inquires. It's a roughshod organization that seems to derive some sick pleasure from annoyance phone calls.

Don't know who this is, but they will not leave a message. I searched the internet to see if anyone else has been getting calls.  I suppose I will not answer the phone if what everyone is saying is true.  Thanks for the heads up!  Can't the phone company do anything??

I'm getting the calls too. They leave no message. And i have not picked up or called them back. Someone should do something.

I rec'd a call from this number. They asked for someone I have never heard of. I said I wasn't the person. A gentleman acted as if I was lying. So I hung up. The very next day, I rec'd another call from this number. It went to my voice mail. A North Group rep left a msg for this same person. I called them back to explained to them that they have the wrong number. They insisted that the person they are looking for called them from my cell phone because they have the number on file. The gentleman was rude and disrespectful and then he hung up on me. So you know I called back to tell him how rude he was. He began shouting and yelling and of course I did too. Eventually, I hung up. This company is so unprofessional. They will definitely hear from me again.

I have been getting calls fron this number for several months, and I decided to answer.  The man on the line told me I owed a large debt dating back almost 7 years.  I tried to tell him he had the wrong person but he was very rude and would not listen. I will not answer this number again.  Something should be done with whoever that is making these calls.

I'm not even 18 yet and I have been getting calls from this number on my cell phone and many other similar numbers calling me as well..I hate it I don't know what to do besides just not answering it..I wish something could be done..

I just got a call from these people and the lady (Vicki Edwards) was quite rude to me. I didn't feel it was appropriate to answer her questions and as a result she became more irritated with me and she eventually hung up on me. This company is part of the Better Business Bureau but obviously all their employees don't "comply" with law especially when it comes to harrassing phone calls. When I told her to not call at the number she reached me at, she threatened to call that number every day until the matter gets resolved. BE CAREFUL!!!!

This collection agency Northland Group has been calling me twice a day for a  week now, I don't answer. I usually look up the number here to see if others are getting the same. I do not owe any past or current debt! How do we stop these harassing calls?

I just got this number a month ago so this may be for the previous owners.  I have no idea who this is but they just started calling three days ago.  They don't leave a message and I never pick up if I don't recognize the number.  I just happened to be home today so I picked up and answered with "if you don't pay my bills you have no business using my phone service so F*** off".  For me that was very difficult but I hate to be bothered with whatever kind of calls that I don't deserve.

I don't answer calls from toll free numbers.  Googled it and got this website.  Good to know.  This has to be regarding my ex.  I have even gotten written correspondence from collection agencies for him.  Nevermind that he has never lived at my address!  So I won't bother answering.

I got several calls the past few days and a letter the other day. It was for a debt that I had from 10 yrs ago that was written off by an agreement with that specific company and me. I told them that it was taken care of and Northland rep didnt belive me I wantdto fax him a copy but wasnt interested in it. I told him im not going to pay something I dont owe on and he was saying that he wont tolerate this and that. I informed him that my brother is a lawyer and I have unlimted access to counsel and that if he calls again I will sue that company and personally sue the F**K out of him until he;s living in a carboard box and eating dirt for dinner. Of course then he hung up on me. So let the games begin.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone today.  I called them back and they were looking for someone else - someone I had never heard of.  I told him I've had this number for nearly 4 years and didn't know who he was talking about.  He was quite pleasant and apologetic.  We'll see what happens next.

they call every day. sometimes I pick up but no one is there.  I do not owe money to any one..It is annoying. Today they called three times

Caller in morning 8:32 , so picked up on mute and allowed them to speak- they gave no revealing information, so I redialed to see how it was answered. Caller called back and went VM while I was calling back with redial. First attempt by this group that I am aware of, and the VM call back number is not in the database here...

if you the money and they have lapsed [[[4 years]]] withoust sueing you  you have the right to make them cease & desist with no backlash, they lose you win, get their address or their fax # and tell them to cease & desist they have no choice but to stop. good luck

Some idiot keeps calling from this number and is really rude... im just ignoring them now... Wish they'd call and harass someone else.

Call came at 9:05 in morning but with caller ID, 800 Service; no-one spoke when answered so I redialed and got someone to say who they were calling for , and say they were the NorthlandGroup (sounded like norflinger). I kept asking "who?" and they were rapid to apologize for the wrong number and that it would be taken off their list.

I then pressed them about who they were, who they wanted , and what number  that person should call back. After coming here I was able to verify that they are collection agency...

Also since it seems they have a probable verification based on my questions, since the conversation was rapidly followed by three other calls, which I allowed to go to VM, or hang up on their side.
