Did not get a phone call, just a mailing from Record Transfer Services stating to send them $83 for a copy of the deed to a property I just purchased.  Beware of them.  I did Google search and found it is a scam that do actually call people trying to get them to send them money.  If a property owner needs a copy of a deed or property assessment profile, go to the County Records Office. This scam resembles the automobile warranty scam. The mailing actually resembled many of those expiration warranty mailings.

Same as the above post. A scam to get money from you by using info. from a recent property transfer. What BS !! What is sad is how many people will fall for this and blindly mail them $83.00 These scammers should be hung !

1-888-344-3626 : This is a SCAM, don't send them your money. They go by different names "px documents" and "records transfer service" they send us a $83 letter telling us that we have to send them money or else they will call immigration (ICE) on my 2 kinds. Beware of this number 888 344 3626

If you received the letter in the US mails, take the letter down to the US post office and have the postal inspectors look at it.  This is mail fraud.
