I received a call from Nathan - 302-394-6827 - says he is from the Career Institute - saying I had filled out a form (have received numerous calls in the past 2-3 days saying I had filled out a form requesting further education - WHICH I DID NOT - they gave me the 888-361-6348 number saying it was customer service and that they could tell me when I filled out the form and the IP address of the computer that I used -- called the number and they are closed until Monday.....this is totally frustrating...

Nathan keeps calling my parents house.  I haven't lived there for 16 years.  He keeps calling and hanging up.  He finally fessed up that he is with the "Career Institute" online college.  His phone number is a land-line phone located in Baltimore City and it is unlisted.  Extremely unlikely that this guy is any kind of professional or working on behalf of any college.

I also recieved a phone call from this person .he said that i had filled out an online form for further education .i asked him to tell me the website but he said that he did not have that information .after words he switched the subject and asked if i wanted a security system.

Nathan called my home repeatedly under the guise of the career institute.  he stated that my info was entered online - not true.

Daily calls, more than once a day - we are an older couple and my husband is just out of the hospital.  This is like prank calls from hell.

Do you have a cordless phone?  If not, consider getting one.  That way you'll never have to run half way across the house to answer the phone.


By "cordless phone" I don't mean a cell phone.  I mean a cordless land line.  The base station plugs into the phone line and the electric line in your house.  The hand peice is cordless and can be used anywhere in your house and yard.

The same guy has been calling my parent's house for the past two days. Apparently saying I applied online for information from the career institute-which I haven't. It's creepy and frustrating not only for my but for my parents as we're all on the "do not call list."

Yeah they called my moms house and Nathan or whoever this dude is said that I had signed up for some classes...not only did it piss my off cuz she thought I was trying to be a [***] or something but it just creeped me the hell out!!

Sadly, I work for the call center "Nathan" calls from. The truth is, Nathan is a recording. When you talk to him, you are talking to a live person, but they use the recording to talk to you. This is not a scam, and you truly did fill out some kind of form including at least your name and phone number. However, the leads we get are ridiculous. Most likely the form you filled out was not for online college classes, but for a Walmart gift card or a job application online. The majority of people I call don't remember filling it out, and I suspect some people didn't fill out anything, someone just used their name and phone number. Either way, it is not a scam, and we really do match people up with online colleges. I despise this job and I am very sorry if you get calls from "Nathan."

Bottom line: The best thing you can do is tell "Nathan" "Put me on your do not call list." If he does call you back, the company you received the call from owes you money.

I too get calls from Nathan, about college classes but I did not sign up for any having been thru with college over a decade ago. I would appreciate it if he could put me on the DO NOT CALL list.

hey guys, I signed up for some information for my son from the military website with a brand new phone number that my son doesnt even know. withing 5 minutes "Nathan" called. Apparently, our lovely military website is crawling with low life scammers! I should have known better! If he calls again, maybe you can ask which form of service he represents!

They keep calling and asking for my grandson, I have told them several times that he does not live here. They keep calling.

Received a call stating that I had sign up for online classes. When asked when I signed up he said  again: What type of classes were you interested in? I said I did not sign up for any on line classes and to call 888-361-6348 to cusotmer service to find out more information.  Had caller ID and here is the number they called from: 714-551-6991. I have nevered signed up for any on line classes. They must be connected to a free credit report on line you can request but at the end they want $1 to process your free credit report. If is is free why dothey want your credit card to charge you $1.00. Did not enter my credit card and backed out then been recieving phone call from all different companies. This free credit report is selling your information to other companies.

Received a phone call on my cell this morning. The number was 951-266-5507. He said I had filled out a form on-line about taking on-line classes. I told him I did not and he told me to call 888-361-6348. I'm not.

It seems as if anyone can get your number these days, call you and harassment you whenever they feel like.  For example, I received a call from a person named "Nathan" who said he was calling from a "Career Institute" but refused to tell me the address of the Institute after I told him that I was going to report him for harassment.  I did request that he not call me again and ask that he remove my number from his list.  What right do these people have?  Who gives them the right to call you?  This is unacceptable!!!!!!

I received a phone call from them too... the regular... "i am calling because you filled a survery for online classes...". When i said i was not the person i filled the survey and i would take notes, he asked me to call 1-888-361-6348.
