This number has been charging 18.95 against my credit card for 3 or 4 months...I just found it on my statement.  Has anyone else had this charge?

This apparently has something to do with a clothing outfit called Draper's & Damon's.  Did your wife, or some other woman, order clothing from them?  If you call the customer service number, and give them the description on the bill, they'll tell you it came from this store.  However, it may not actually be the store, but some scam associated with it.

Called Draper and Damon's customer service and they verified that "My Destination Life" was their rewards program.  They gave us the number 1-888-327-7182 to call.  Called that number and they said they would reverse the charges and cancel the membership.

Apparently you join this program in the fine print of your order receipt!

Yes, My credit card showed $14.95 charge that I never authorized and I have ordered through Draper and Damons. I'm calling tomorrow and get this straightened out and file fraud charges if necessary.

I just noticed the same charge that I did not authorize.

I did NOT get a phone call but I did get a DEBIT in my checking account
for "Purchase MY DESTINATION LIFE 888-378-7283"

I NEVER requested this "whatever it is" for $1.95 or any future debits
for MY DESTINATION LIFE 888-738-7283.

I placed an order with Draper and Damons and realized this month I have been charged a $14.95 charge every month from My Detination Life since my order.  I have received nothing in return for the charge and was not aware I had signed up for anything.  I called Draper and Damons and they said it was a reward program.  I believe this to be a scam and should be stopped.

I have a bill for $14.95 on my credit card bill this month (May) from My Destination Life that I did not authorize.  In looking this name up on the web, I find it is from Damon and Draper's.  I am very disappointed in them about this.  I am trying to phone 888-378-7283 but to no avail.  This makes me even angrier.

Just got a 14.95 charge on my visa for "Destination Life"8887283.  
Always check Visa, this was first time for this.  Learned it is a SCAM
run by Drapers and Damon.  Really Sick!!  Called to cancel the monthly
charge for this SCAM.

After after my wife ordered from Draper's & Damon's on Nov. 19, 2008,our creddit card was charged $1.95 by DEST STYLE (Phone 888-378-7283). Since then we have been charged $14.95 each month through 4/18/2009 by the same. On 5/15/2009 the charge amount and phone number are the same but the name changed to MY DESTINATION LIFE. Today (Sat. 5/16) I called to inquire, but got a voice mail that the memembership department was closed and to call back during business hours--which I will. Hopefully, I can get the charges reversed.

My wife says she did not authorize these charges--neither did I. When I saw the "DEST STYLE" charges, I assumed they were for items my wife ordered by phone--she does that sometimes--but I did not ask her about it until now. I learned my lesson.

No known call. Cahrge of $1.95 on Cap One card.

I just got ripped off too, can you believe this scam, tried calling but office not opened until Monday or Tues.  I too ordered from Draper and Damon.  Honestly you can't trust anyone any more, Can you? Good luck to all and me too.

On April 3, 2009 I called 1-888-378-7283 once I found a charge of $1.95 was on my credit card.  I finally got a "person" who told me that that the charge was from Drapers and that I approved of the charge which was not so.  They told me they would credit my card within two months of my credit card billing.  So yesterday I called again 6/3/09 and they had a record of my April call but that I did not ask for a refund.  So I told Diana Nelson of oncore market to record my call again and that it would take another two billings of my credit card.  Everyone listed above should call Drapers at 1-800-443-1174 or service @drapers.com and report these fraud charges.

Fortunally I was only being charged $1.95 when many others were charged many times more.  But I am not stopping and have already told my bank regarding these charges.

obviously your complaint never registered - i found a $1.00 charge to emi encore margeting and $1.95 to my destination life - figured the best thing to do was to contact my bank and cancel my credit card before they could do more damage and filed a fraud charge.

forgot to say - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DRAPER'S & DAMON'S

WAS JUST CHARGED THE SAME $14.95 ABOUT WHICH EVERYONE IS COMPLAINING.  CALLED DRAPER AND DAMON TO COMPLAIN.  VERY NICE WOMAN IS "SORRY TO LOSE" ME AS A PARTICIPANT IN SOMETHING FOR WHICH I NEVER ENROLLED, BUT HAD NO PROBLEM IN CANCELLATION OR REFUND.

I also called Draper amd Damon to complain ~~ I was told I would have to call My Destination Life to cancel my subscription ~~ I never got anything from that company.  It first appeared on my credit card as a $1.95 charge and then $14.95 for the next two months until I inquired about this charge.  What a racquet.  I can't get through to that number.  I was told it was closed because of the holiday weekend.

I just noticed that I was charged $1.95 in April and $14.95 the past two months.  Looks like I will have to call Draper and Damon as well.  Will keep you posted.  I believe I also will contact Visa about thye scam as well.
