who is this number, i have several calls, twice in a day, but no message...who is calling me.

They call and often hang up.  Sometimes they ask for a person by a first name, but it's never anyone who works here.

This number calls me many times, they never leave a message.

I called the number back, it gave me a voice recording saying "This is the National Flood Insurance center. Your call is very important to us..." and then I hung up. They have called me about 5 or 6 times today and it is only 1115 am

I called it back today,,,,,it's a student loan collection place.

I'm 13 years old and they have called me 5 times in 2 days.  I finally picked up and they asked for someone I have never met in my life.

They call on the weekends, they call late at night. If I answer and say hello, there's no reply.

It is NCO Financial.  They are a debt collection agency and rate an "F" in customer service and professionalism.  I had a credit card that went delinquent 8 months ago and they were relentless until payment was received even if I told them the date the bill would be paid.  That account was paid in full and closed, however, due to new circumstances beyond my control, my student loan is delinquent and NCO Financial is again trying to collect this debt.  They were rude to my husband when he answered the phone and later when I spoke with them and told them I could catch up on my payment 2 days later (payday), she snidely remarked that it wasn't her fault that I couldn't pay my bills and hung up before I could respond.  I was floored.  She has no idea what I've gone thru in the past 6 months.  Regardless, that is no way to speak with customers.

Never leaves a message, just calls multiple times a day.  I have NO idea who it is.

Keeps calling me a couple times a day but never leaves a voice mail.  If it was important enough, they would leave a voice mail.

I got a call from this number six times today.  Never called before, but started this morning at around 9AM.  Then called every two hours since then.  Never left a voicemail.  When I called the number, all I got was a disclaimer saying the call would be recorded, then, "Your call is important to us.  Please hold for the next available representative."  I hung up.  What is so important that they need to call six times in one day and never leave a single message?

They called me 6 times yesterday and twice today and it's only 11:39 AM.  I didn't pick up because I don't answer if I don't recognize the phone number.  Yesterday, they called me starting at 8:51 AM and the last call was at 8:55 PM and not once did they leave a message.  Now that I know who is actually calling me, I'll pick up and try to survive through their rudeness according to previous reports.

*sidenote* It'd be nice if they could just leave a message stating who they're looking for because of a business matter.  That's not divulging any information...

I'm seventeen years old, and I know I'm not in debt for anything. This phone number is driving me crazy, it really is. I don't know who they are, but I do know they call EVERY morning, and EVERY afternoon, and then twice and EVERY evening. I finally called up this morning, just a few minutes ago actually, I was told it was the NCO, which led me here.

How can I stop these calls?!

They have called me ten times in the past 24 hours. No messages are left and they just keep calling!

This number calls my cell phone atleast 10 times a day. They start at 8am and don't stop until late in the evening.

We have been getting calls from 888-379-3776 for my daughter.  (Three between 9am and 12 noon today) I held the line the other day and was able to speak with someone who would not tell me the business's name.  I called the number back and they do not even give the name when they answer the phone.  This morning I was able to talk to another person who told me that the business is NCO which is a collection agency in this case for student loans.
I Googled NCO and got more info.  Please deal with them before they ruin your credit rating.

rude and disrespectful early in the morning to both my wife and i, with NO bills in collection...

I never answer and they call 6 times a day, sometimes more.  If this is regarding student loans, I have one thing to say about that . . . call the government and ask them if they will bail you out like they did Wall Street.
