Just received th he same call!!

Got the same call. Wanted me to verify SSN. I said no. If it was truly important it would not be a recorded message to begin with.

My mom received a call today, CFS looking for me, as well as my step daughter a long time ago.I called back, it was a formal complaint. They say I will be taken to court if payment arrangement not made. Something that never took place.

Sorry ass scammers every year around the holiday's  bs about a loan never  repaid pfishing trying to get bank acct number going to prosecute ... scammers would  love to get a positive id on their location

Just received this phone call. Didn't pick up and they left a recorded message. The name of the person the "complaint" was filed against was intelligible, and I listened to it several times.

I just received the same call, but they said the a formal complaint was filed for my grandpa who has been dead for almost 3 years now.. :( The number was 888-389-2558, and left a call back number..888-389-2547.

I just got the same call.  A voice message saying that they are looking for an individual (Me) and that their next step is to file with the courts.  I hate SCAMMERS!!!!

Son-in-law got call. Same as above..."Call back or court proceedings will begin against XXXX XXXXXX" Scammer.

They said that I had taken a loan out from 2013 and I said I don't know how if I don't have a bank account tried to give my lawyers number to them they said we don't make out going calls but yet you called my mother he said it was an automated phone call I wouldn't give any info to him and he put down charges would be filed and I said go right ahead and he hung up on me

Just got the same message again-last one about 1 week ago. Person wanted was,  'unable to understand altered message'. My answering mach is turned off, but somehow they got through and left message get a hold of them by dialing 'nt' I think or call 888-389-2947 and the courts will answer me. no....not me

Received a call on December 19, 2016 also stating that there was a formal complaint being filed against me.

The infamous  “Coastal” or CFS scam.  No idea where they are located.  Call from a variety of numbers for several years now. Ignore and block any calls received from this “Coastal” group. Sometimes uses the CID of “Coastal Litigation” or Coastal Pre-litigations. Also using someting called "Lakeside Mediations"  and "Legal Review Services as their CID.  Also “First Point”.  There are several groups with the letters CFS in them.
May now IDing themselves as “Western”.   Ignore and block any calls from these
groups.

Received a call on my cell from 888.389.2558. Hello I'm calling in regards to a formal complaint that has been filed against one Lisa Fisher. If you have any information on the whereabouts of this individual. Please contact us at 888.389.2547. or Press any key on your dial pad to be connected immediately. Our next step will be filing the paperwork with the local county court. Thank you for your cooperation. First off, my name is not Lisa Fisher and I don't know any Lisa Fishers, so feel free to contact the local county court.

I got the same call today with the same info as everyone else above. They had an old email address, bank name and a name of a company that I haven't worked for in 15 years. Once I called them out on this, they started talking over me and hung up the phone. It looks like they are fishing on the internet for information and calling to scam people out of money. I blocked the number.
