Received a call from Fernando Rodriquez of the IRS telling me I had to call regarding tax fraud before the local sheriff came to arrest me. I got the call 8/18/14 around noon. Tried calling it today to see who it really was but got a message that I have dialed incorrectly, the number did not exist.

I also got the identical message this morning at 730 am. When i tried calling back it rang until i finally hung up.

Officer Joseph Garner, of the Internal Revenue Service, Washington DC, called for family member.  It is a legal matter and couldn't give any more information.  Left this phone number to call back.

Received 2 calls like this to my mobile phone number stating the man was "Fernando Rodriguez, an IRS agent" and he was calling because of IRS fraud/tax evasion and for me to call the 888-394-6943 number as soon as possible before the cops come and take me to prison. Never called the number.

Also received a call from Fernando Rodriguez, tax evasion, etc....if so then send me my $$KK that I have already paid. ha....

Call from Fernando Rodriguez this am, left message that there was  fraud /tax issue with IRS,  call this number back. That one came in as private caller, no number. Second call mid afternoon showed number but left no message.

Originates in India.

We received two phone calls from Fernando today.  I called the number out of curiosity.  It's not a working number.  No surprise.  It got my wife a little upset so now she'll worry.  It is disconcerting.  I went to the IRS sight.  Apparently, we are among many thousands who now know Fernando.  Clearly, a scam that is broad reaching.
