- P| 1 replyReceived a call from a Mr Anthony in regards to an illegal payday loan. Very rude, not a very pleasant chap. Very passive/ aggressive in nature. Claims to be working for global Holdings, LLC. Says they are in Sac. CA but I know they are not. Also claims to be from Nationwide Debt Management. I beleive they are from Global/ or National Recoverable Services.

- Kim| 2 repliesThis number has already called me 3 times today. It is a voice recording saying "There is an important message for *my name* please press 1 to connect or dial 888-414-0763" I haven't connected, I figure it's a spammer trying to confirm my number to sell information. I noticed that someone else mentioned something about Nationwide, I did receive a phone call from a Nationwide office, and they left a message on my machine. I have never had anything to do with Nationwide, so I have ignored it. I felt like this was too much of a coincidence to let it pass. I feel like this is totally a SCAM. So please ignore all these calls!!
- Caller: Debt/Insurance?
- tdlisowe replies to Kim| 1 replyI just got a call from them too. They said in the automated message they were nationwide and they were debt collectors. Never done business with nationwide in my life. not ever. why are they calling me?
- NancyI have been getting these calls also. The guy said he was Mr Anthony. He wanted my son. It is interesting that he told me that my son took out a government loan and is now in trouble for not paying it and will be going to court. But I see some of these comments say something about payday loans - which I also know he got into to. So I am thinking that the Mr Anthony lied to me. They answered when I called back as Nationwide. Very crooked people.
- karenthey called me today and sayed his name was john something, calling from HMRDMS telling me to have my attorney call him or I can call him and he would tell me the problem, he said he has my file on his desk for action to be taken and to move forward with a decision.... I'm confused, I truly am tired of getting these calls I get them all the time If you ever take a payday loan out be advised that these calls will come very frequently, they get your info and they try to bully you into calling them back and get you to try and pay them to supposedly pay off any court problems DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!! They are SCAMS!!!!

- AnonymousPlease see notes under 916-233-1482 and 916-331-5116. These guys are all the same guys from a company called CRSI. Looks like they had to change their phone number and company name again because they are in trouble with the FCC. Numerous lawsuits have been filed against these guys. Do not do business with them. Do not give them any information regarding family members, ask them to send you information in writing, hang up and file an FCC complaint. These guys bullied me into making a payment on something I did not owe. I was uninformed at the time and they threatened to arrest me, send officers to subpoena my sister, and even threatened to call the CEO of my husbands company. Whatever they say they are going to do they cannot do, legally. You have lots of rights under theFair Credit Act. I suggest brushing up on your rights and telling these guys to "F" off.

These jerks need to straighten up and mind their owns business!
- bob| 3 repliesthe only thing I can recommend is DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE if you don't know who it is.
These are the same people from a company called California Recovery Systems. If you do answer the phone, here are a few tips...
- NEVER give out ANY personal information
- NEVER give out your banking information
- NEVER give out your credit card information
- Be vague and NEVER agree to anything, including saying that you owe money.
IMPORTANT - If you do answer the phone, make sure you tell them you are recording the conversation and tell them NOT to call ever again. Tell them they DO NOT have permission to call anyone affiliated with you. Tell them that all communication MUST be done through the United Postal Service, then immediately hang up.
By law, they must adhere to these rules or they can be liable for damages up to $10,000 for every call they make AFTER you tell them, but you MUST record the conversations and take notes diligently.
My lawsuit with Mr. Anthony's company is pending.- Caller: NRS

- maria| 1 replyI got a call from Mr Anthony saying a friend of mine had taken a payday loan and not paid it back. They said she had used my name as a reference. Is this whole company a fraud or do they really issue these loans, which are a rip off to begin with? My friend said they didnt take a loan out with them but I know she has in the past. I am upset that she used my name..and am trying to get to the bottem of it.
thanks- Caller: nationwide-NDMS

- Anonymous replies to mariaI wouldn't be upset with your friend. She likely took the loan out of desperation and assumed that she was dealing with a reputable company. These guys that are calling you buy bad debt for pennies on the dollar and then try to scare people into paying. From everything I have seen about this company they may even at times be collecting on things that have been paid off. The debt collecting business is an extremely seedy underworld. If they call again get their address and send them a certified letter telling them that they may no longer contact you via phone. Once that letter has been received they will be violating federal law if they call again and you can file a lawsuit. Most likely once they receive the letter the calls will stop. You can look at previous notes under 9163315116 and 9162331482 to get a better feel for who these guys are!
- sick and tired| 2 repliesMr. Anthony @ 888-414-0763 has repeatdly been calling my employment, at least 7 times daily. He even left a message on the VP's phone for me. HOW CRAZY IS THAT....GOT NO IDEA WHO THIS PERSON IS!!!!!

If they attempt, in any way, to put pressure on you by lying to your supervisors that you owe money, be aware that this is illegal as all get out. Refer those folks to this website, as well as the FBI website, and documenting any/all calls. If you employer does anything negative because of this attempted extortion (and that's what it is) AFTER you inform them, you may have grounds for a lawsuit again the employer; they need to respond to the information you give them about anyone threatening you at work, including attempted extortion. Everyone should just hang up on them. If they even think they can get money out of you, they will never stop calling, so your employer will need to be involved. - CECOpen a case with the Attorneys for Consumers. What these guys are doing is illegal and completely out of line. They have done this to me twice now - what scares me is they know EVERYTHING about me...even that I was in tragic accident several months ago and my husband died. They knew I was on disability and yet they called me again to try and scam me?
Call the Attorneys for Consumers at 888-595-9111 and they will help you for FREE. What's even better is if they find these folks are operating out of the guidelines/illegally they will fine them and you are entitled to receive up to $300 from that fine!- Caller: CRSI now knowns as Nationwide
- Call type: Debt collector
- CEC replies to RobThey are NOT allowed to contact your employment, they have to go thru the court and let the court serve documentation to your employer. Your employer should know this as well. It's the law - I spoke with my CEO and COO who both confirmed as well.
- VThe same guy called and left 2 messages pretty much demanding to speak with me. He didn't even call me by my married last name but my maiden name which goes to show me whatever info he has is outdated and it probably a scam. I called that Attorneys for Consumers phone number and left a message so we'll see what they say. I hate being harassed even if I don't pick up the phone how the hell do the phone company's even give out our numbers anyway? None the less this number is not right. Beware.

- JohnI got a call from phone number 916-639-6581 from someone who called himself Mike Vick. He said that he has tried to call numerous times and was forwarded this file. He expects a call back from me or my attorney. He gave a phone number of 888-414-0763.
I'd suggest recording any phone calls and advising these idiots that they are being recorded. They are bottom feeders, so be ready. They will do anything, even illegal in an attempt to collect on their worthless time barred debt.- Caller: Nationwide DMS

- Kelly| 5 repliesI got numerous calls from a Mr. Anthony. He called from 888-414-0763 and then from a 916 area code then he blocked his number, all within about two hours. He even went as far as calling my mother who I dont even live with. How he got her number I have no idea. He is stating he is only doing his job and is trying to collect $400 I owe on a defaulted payday loan 4 years ago. I dont even remember doing a payday loan then. I asked them to send me proof about 3 months ago. Never saw it. But he still continues to call, now he is saying is he taking civil action. What can I do without giving into them and paying without proof? I called and left message stating not to call anyone but ME and I wanted proof sent to me.
