Please let me know what you found out because I just spoke with Mr. Winston Law, and I asked for their address and he kept trying to stall asking me who I was yada, yada, yada, then I told him that who I was and that Sidney Roman had been contacting me that I spoke with the Attorny Generals Office and I needed their physical address in order for me to send them a cease contact letter.  He gave me this bogus address (405 Corner Square Moncks Corner, SC 29461), well little did he know my family is from their and I had them mapquest it and check it out it's some warehouse, when I informed that I couldn't find such and address he then said "well I don't know what kind of computer you have but I'm looking it at it on google.com.  Whatever I've filed a formal complaint with the FCC as well as my state (North Carolina), Attorney Generals office, changed my bank account and got a post office box.  These people are crazy!!!! I just wish I could locate them and have the FEDS go to their office and round them up.

I spoke to "Attorney" Winston Law and he gave me the same information, but wanted my work address because he was going to notify them I used my office computer and this was a criminal act. This doesn't seem legal! A couple of weeks ago they called and told me they couldn't accept money orders for payment I had to purchase a pre paid Visa so they could draft it.

This man called me from this phone number 1888-441-4001. He told me some dates that I supposedly received 2 payday loans from two different companies that are owned by the same bank.  He said he was from an attorney's office and that if I didn't pay x amount of dollars to him today that he was going to press criminal charges against me and have me arrested for a felony in my state.  I informed him that I recently filed for bankruptcy and I need the oringal creditors name and address to put into my bankruptcy (If I really owed these) He said NO you cannot put these into a bankruptcy and I will not give you our clients personal information! You broke the law and you will pay a felony price for it!  I told him EVERYTHING can go into a bankruptcy chap 7 except taxes and student loans of which neither do I have!!!!! And, would he please give me the original creditors name and address.  He said let me put you on hold for a minute. Then HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!  I tried calling them back all afternoon and they would not answer their phone.
Today, I shut off my caller id, called them back and got a woman. I asked her the questions before she could go into her automatic yelling mode. I asked what attorney's office is this? She said this isnt an attorney's office, who is this? I said someone called me yesterday and said I owe you money so I want to know your address so I can send it to you.  Then she got really defensive and refused to answer anymore questions. She said no one ever calls us wanting to pay us money who are you?  I told her the previous conversation I had with this man, and then she got even more defensive. She said her name was Ms. Roman. But would not talk to me anymore and said if I really have an attorney then have him call her but she has nothing further to say to me. THEY ARE THE RUDE SOB'S THAT CALLED ME,  THREATENING ME LIKE I DONT KNOW THE LAW

I pray you never waste your money by paying them!  I do NOT believe that they are real collectors for these companies.

I just wanted to add that I have called them and notified them of this fact:
You have been legally notified that I have already filed bankruptcy, YOU have been notified, and since you have been notified that by calling and harrassing me YOU WILL be fined and or prosecuted for harassing me under the protection of the bankruptcy laws of the state of Nevada!!!!
Besides, if they try to harass my references, one is a judge in my county, and the other is a friend who is a police officer.

Yes they tried to do the same to me about the office computer,but I wasn't having it, when I asked winston law about sending something to me to provide proof of the debt his repsponse was that he didn't know if that was my correct address or not well if you are a collection agency then you mail it to whatever address you have and let the post office send it back to you.  I just really wish there was a way that we can locate these people i think i might notify dateline and see if i have a shot through their resources you know they love stories like this hummmmmm...........going to their website now and give it a shot, wish me luck everyone.

I recieved 2 phone call today both from the same guy Jay Kirby calling from Spellman & Roman law office. He told my boss that he needed to speak to me right away that it was an emergency that my name was given to him by the county court that the city I live in that I need to call him ASAP.

this is the office of Jay kirby walker this recorded communication is intended for then my name in event I am able not to  establish contact with you I wll be forced to proceed with this aciton without any input or defesnse from you my number is 18884414001 est 4010

Who do these people think they are has anyone got any new news on them

can you believe that they actual sent me an email from Winston Law.  Telling me what the debt was and how much I owe.

saying I was listed as an emerengy contact number for this person that I have never heard of.

I receive a call today and pd 100.00 to these people  because I was trying to refinace my home I didnt want anything on my credit I have a balnce of 421.oo now which they will never see I continue to tell them I never receive this payday loan. I am very upset I fail for this and they also refuse to give me something in writing i spoke with mrs spellman and susie williams

That stupid Veronica Masters called me and stated that she had the executive of the state of Indiana listening in on the line.  But I could not talk to them or them to me.  She even gave me a case #.  She said that a officer was going to arrest me, and they could find me in 20 minutes.  Thanks for all your posts it helped me calm down and know that it was a fraud call.  I will make sure that I continue to ask questions to verify who I am talking to with bill collectors.

I hate that you feel for their scare tatics, Winston Law called me yesterday and I asked him did he recieve the email that I sent to his companies yahoo email (what company do you know has a yahoo address) anyway I told him to cease communication with me and any one else in reference to me I posted their information on another website and told him to kiss my ass, do you know that idiot called me right back and left a message on my voice mail "if i was anywhere near you I would" What a jerk, call your bank and explain that you want to dispute the charge because it was fraudlent and believe me they will go after them.  Hope this helps.  I hope we catch the [***]!!!!!!!!

OMG, don't even talk to them tell them to mail it to you so you can validate it and then respond.  Don't give them any information if they have everything then they can mail it to you.  That's it you have 30 days to respond once they do.  I've learned so much in dealing with getting out of debt these postings have been an extreme help.

I got a message that either myself or my attorney needed to contact them regarding a situation where my name came up in an investigation.  when i contacted them, they told me that they were going to take charges out on me for worthless checks if I did not give them 200.00 by the end of the day.  They told me it was charges for Bank of America.  However, they hung up on my attorney three times and told them it was a different bank.  I left them a message that I wanted documentation of what I owed, I never got a return call back.  I spoke with Sydney and Tuesday

This company called me today and told me I had until Noon today to pay them and gave me this account number to put the money in the account I went to the bank and spoke to the branch manager at this bank who did some investigation and told me no to do anything she think this is a scam and she contacted the loss prevention dept who told me not to deposit anything into this account and to report this.. Sidney Roman is the person name from this company and I will expose her I left work early and did some investigation good thing I did because I would have been out of $437.65 which I did not have .

Just got home and had almost same message on voice mail 4 min's apart. \

These dilholes call every day and yes use those big words like attorney and every day there is a hearing which I need one for. Veronica Masters calls and tells me "I need to shut up and listen." These people are bottom feeders. They tell you you need a lawyer and then you have to pull teeth to find out why. And then come to find out, it's nothing. What a job they have, to agitate people all day.

I got the same message on my machine from John McQueen.....I am going to report them to the FCC.  They are a complete scam and I am tired of them trying to disrupt peoples lives with their scare tactics.  We will get them!

I received the same typ eof call but from a Mr. Winston Law with Spellman and Roman.  He was very rude and hung up on me when I told him that I did not have the money or an attorney.  I was wondering what the outcome was and if they every contacted you again.  Please let me know.
