this #  called my mother said they were  her bank,that her card had been deactvatied and asked for her card #,which they didn't get. the bank was called and this reported.

I received a call from this number at 1:54 AM. I didn't answer...who calls from a toll free number at 1:54 in the morning? Sheesh.

This number called my mother-in-law claiming to be from Cieaura and keeps calling her telling her quick easy ways to make a fortune.  Also claiming Cieaura sold her information, which is not the case.  They said that their company was called group sharp and after looking it up online the number goes back to a group called Escape Media aka Grooveshark.

I received a call from this number @ 3:15 today. However, since I am in the habit of not answering if I cannot identify the caller, I have no idea who they were claiming to be or what they wanted. They left no message either.

Automated call saying my "sun trust" ATM was deactivated do to  suspected fraud. - I don't have a sun trust ATM - suspect phishing activity here

A $3 charge struck me as odd on my statement, so I Googled it. This is the number for Grooveshark, an online music service I use.

This is for GrooveShark, which is an online music player I downloaded for my Android phone.  I did approve this recurring $3 monthly charge for unlimited songs.

Got a text today.

"From:713@sms.mycricket.com

[Please call at 888 446 2873(Extensi...]"

Don't know what the deal is. Googling the number says that it belongs to Grooveshark, a service I've never used.

Got another similar text just now.

"From:3003@sms.mycricket.com

Call at 888-446-2873 extension 600 ((WellsFargo 434258 Issue)"

I can only assume that this is fraud as I don't have an account with Wells Fargo.

Have been getting random texts saying call this extension regarding wells fargo.

I received a few texts saying problems with my bank account, and this number came up along with another that was disconnected due to an investigation with the federal trade commission, they claimed they were "fishers", and trying to steal account information.

very annoying.  my phone about 10 times now.  my girlfriends phone about 2 times, and even a freinds phone is getting the messages.  I wish they would stop!

This phone number is associated with several fraudulent charges for $9 that recur once a month. You may well find " MR GS VIP" in Panama City Florida, a defunct specialty store / food services store that went out of business in 1998 on your bank statement.

Dispute this.

The best way to steal money is with small recurring charges, not large ones.

The info being sent by the bank is from the former company and the phone number is no longer associated with Mr. G's VIP -or- Grooveshark.

I got this number showing up on my debti card bill monthly with this message in the account:  

GS VIP (888)446-2873FL

It seems like it may be Grooveshark.  I am checking it out.

Same seems to be happening to me.
