Doesn't leave a message

They called me at around noon today. No message or anything. by looking at the dates that people left comments, it looks like this number is pretty new..probably some BS telemarketer...

Called twice now. Left no message either time.

Called me twice today.  Left a computer generated voicemail saying they were looking for me.  They inserted my name via computer generation.  They didnt say where they were from.

Called a little after 3:30P, PST, and wouldn't say who they were.  Came up as Unknown Name with the number 888-454-5482 on the Caller ID.

called my cell phone few minutes ago. I didn't answer it and voicemail is not set up ;-) But still anoying.

I've been receiving calls from this number for a while now, and received 2 today with no message.  Who are these people??

i used to get calls from them on a landline, now they are calling my cell phone number.  the weird thing is they aren't calling for me, but someone named marvis johnson...on both numbers.  and the landline and cell phone are under 2 different names and they're asking for marvis on two totally unrelaed phone numbers.

This call is from the "COLLECTION FUREAU OF AMERICA" trying to collect on an old AT&T bill.  The woman "Koy" was polite.  Second call today so
I did answer it being as how all the i/net searches didn't turn up a
definitive name.

Computer generated voice asked for monica martinez (not me). I hung up.

Heres how to beat them----
This is the same gaggle of complete losers who work for this Evil company ""The Collection Buearu of America"".  To stop they from calling you can send a registered letter demanding to cease and disist attempts to contact you by phone- list all numbers they have called or might attempt to cantact you at-to reach you and demand that all contact must be done by MAIL only.  Let these suckers waste thier postage and not your time- they will settle for much less u simpley tell them 10% thats it , if you want to settle it- Do NOT GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD OR BANKING ACCT INFO- or they will screw you-
Just say " Jesse James advised me to not settle for anything over 10 percent, and so did my attry -if they question who attry is say none of your business"  if enough people start the Jesse James Bit -it will become a policy they will just have t0 start dealing with-it will take away thier power to control you--they only paid 3 cents on the dollar for the debt anyway- if you do get them to settle DO NOT PAY till you have a settlement letter from them with thier company letter head addressing the specific debt and amounts in dollars in question-

YES!!!! Completely agree you only pay them with a money order ONLY-that you can track after you get the settlement letter!  Them they by law have to report to the collection agency the bill has been paid- if they dont you can send in the settlement letter along with a copy of the money order and the letter confirming they cashed it you can get from the money order company-
Im going to use this Jesse James thing. Lets start a trend!
