Will introdeuce themselves as Data Source Solutions a company based in Delaware, but they are not whom they appear to be. This comapny is a deffinute scam based in Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada. The owner's name is Nick, and his assistant manager is Thano Vouloukas in charge of the "sales" department. In a few weeks the company is going to switch their name to InfoUs411...be on the ball! If they ask about an online business directory HANG UP!! They claim to have offered you a service when they did not, and proceed to record you on the phone stating you wish to cancel your subscription (even though there were no actual services provided to you). They then proceed to call, and harass you til you pay the fake invoice. If you dispute the invoice they threaten you with the voice recording of you saying you wish to cancel the service, or in some cases even send a fedex guy to pick up the check to convince you to pay. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE, YOU ARE NOT IN DEPT WITH THEM AND THEIR COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!

This company has been trying to pull the wool over our eyes also ... but now they are using the infous411 name and the number is 866-879-1583.

So what have you done to get them off your back.

DID NOT SPEAK WITH THEM. JUST RECIEVED NOTICE THAT OWED BALANCE FOR CLOSING ACCOUNT.  SOMEHOW HAD MY NAME LISTED AS CONTACT PERSON.

I had INFO US 411 call and said we made a verbal contract with them a couple of years ago and we now owe them $500 to clear the bill or the would send us over to collections.  The said nothing was in writing and would not give me a phone number.  A big scam.  Who can I report them to?

I just got a call from them as well. Tried to say my Father (company owner) agreed to this ad contract but that it was cancelled because we didn't renew and the fees are due at the back end. Caller ID said "Private". I questioned who they were and she said InfoUS411. Told them we never had any agreement before I was even transferred to the "quality assurance" to be recorded. She said "let me get a manager" and hung up.

Just don't agree that you ever had a contract and don't let them record you saying you cancelled it.

Yea they just called my office and tried to scam me. They are using the demonination of $499.00. I figure that's because you can legally have verbal agreements for amounts under $500.00. I just kept telling her to slow down because she was fast talking and then said, I never made such an agreement with this company. Then I asked her to send me the audio tape recording of me agreeing to this and she was like, "You want me to send you a recording?" very sarcastically. I said "Yea if you expect me to pay that, you better send me a recording of me making this agreement." She then hung up on me. [***]. It came up as private on my phone as well.

I was glad to see your message.  They have also contacted my business saying I owe $499.00 immed.  I thought I was really getting forgetful but I knew full well I would never agree to pay that amount to anyone to have my business listed on the internet.  Now they are faxing invoices to me and calling all hours.  I am in the process of contacting my attorney after reading your comment.  Thank you.

I'm contact the BBB in our area as well as the Ohio Attorney General.  The BBB has only just heard of them, most likely because of the recent name-change.  Same story, though - called asking for "their $499" that I "agreed" to about 1.5 years ago. "Do you have a written agreement?" "No," they said, "that's not how we have our contracts laid out."  Haha, like I'm paying this bill.

I reported them to BBB on the net.  This report went to New York BBB bc this is where their mailing add. is.  I come home today and there's another message from Infous411 wanting me to call them.  She seemed quite aggitated.  I'm thinking they received the complaint.  No way am I calling these people or talking to any of them again.  I just wish they would go away.  I don't understand how they can get by with this.  This is unneeded stress to me.  We're trying to run a business and I can't keep screening calls to avoid thesse users.

Wow!  I have the exact samething going on with these people.  They said we owe them $499.  I googled their name and this website poped up.  I cannot belive people can do this.  Has any one paid this bill?  They said we made a verbal contract back in 2007.  I am glad I am not the only one going through this.

Reported these folks one month ago to this site as well as the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General.  I received another call last week and I told them we did not authorize their service and again today, but let it pass to voice mail.  It's the same as everyone else - the $499, etc., etc.  Wonder if there isn't someone who can stop these creeps.  The number they listed on their "invoice" is 1-866-879-1538 or fax at 1-866-218-2222.  I may just print out these messages and fax it to them without ID.

we are having the same problem with them.  we turned them into the better business bureau.  just go on line to bbb.com and file a complaint

same here...does anyone know if these people have actually ever built a case against someone???  i havent said much on the phone to these people but i know they threaten me with a voice recording and told me they would see me in court...god i wish i could see some of these toolbags in person

I just received my first call from them and they stated they would send me an invoice for the amount of $499.oo and gave me a phone number, when I called this 866 number it was someones home number.  Thats when I knew something was up so I googled it and ended up here. Did anyone ever receive an invoice?

Ya, I received an invoice for $499.  They have been calling me and sending things in the mail.  They said they made a verbal contract with the owner in 2007 and now we owe them this money for cancelling the service that I never knew we had.  They said they have a voice recording that I aggreed to cancel the service.  They have not called me back in a week.  We will see what happens.  Have they forced anyone to pay the $499?  How do you get them off your back?

Yes, I just received an invoice from that company asking for $499 and I was shock myself because I have never even heard of this company. I've tried entering their website many times, but it was no where to be found. So I've decided to check them up on Yahoo and Google and found this. I was stunned by the amount of people who said this company was a scam. I just couldn't believe it. I want to know how you guys got these people off your back? I do not want them calling back here again!

I received their phone call last week and today I got the 499.00 invoice.  I am returning it with a letter stating we never engaged in business with them and will not be paying them and if they continue to attempt collection, they will hear from my lawyer.  I don't know if it will work but it's worth a try.  Whatever you do, do not pay them.

WORD FOR WORD AS ALL OF THE INFO US 411 CLAIMS HAVE BEEN. IT IS A SCAM.
