- 2Smart4themAfter several fake "You've won a free vacation" calls to my phone, they are now sending me daily postcards that look like USPS Package pickup slips with a "Call 1-888-465-0877 to arrange for package pick-up" message (and the package number is the same as the notice my neighbor received).
- Caller: Vacation Scam Company
- JGCC| 6 repliesI received a post card with a package number asking to call this number to schedule a pickup (?). The funny thing is that the card is not cancelled or postmarked and has a USA 28 cent polar bear stamp. I believe it's a scam and I'm not calling them back...
- toveycomgot the same postcard. thanks for putting this up, i won't be calling back either. i have gotten a couple of calls today about "eliminating my debt" from a number like this one. it's a scam.
- annoyed replies to JGCC| 1 replyI got the exact same postcard, down to the same stamp!
- momacita| 1 replySame postcard, stamp and everything. Didn't call either. Super suspicious when their isn't any identifying info.
- Bets| 2 repliesSame postcard, forwarded from Michigan to Florida!
- Bailey's Bud replies to BetsSame card, same bear stamp, same lack of information, no return address, postmarked Tyler, Texas, mailed to west Michigan. Wish I knew what "service provider" is selling our names and addresses so I could stop doing business with that provider.
Right.... you have something for me and you don't tell me who you are? - Enjoiescher| 1 replyI too recieved a home-made pick-up post card with this number on it.
I have recently made some on-line orders with groups like Estys and am sooo glad I checked the number online before calling it. I can see how easily people can get scammed like this. - aladdinThanks for posting guys. I received the card yesterday polar bear stamp and all. Pick up notice sorry we missed you!!! call to schedule pick up. People are getting desperate these days so watch your step!
one more thing... There were some partial numbers behind the stamp and when I carefully pealed back the stamp it was the number 2624 and under that 305. don't know what it means but thought I would let you know.- Caller: post card
- IronpenExact same post card with the same info, glad I googled the number and found this. Was suspicious when there was no company name on the card and as aladdin pointed out there is a four digit number on the back of the polar bear stamp, I had 2621 and 236, could be some sort of code the scammer uses to identify area.
- Caller: pickup notice
- GrampsJust received the polar bear stamped post card saying they missed me with a delivery. I called....kept saying hold on someone will be with me shortly... then there was dialing and silence, so I hung up. I hope they are not using this to get free overseas cals on our account. Be watching your phone bill too.

- Prof Inuyasha| 1 replyInteresting, I got it too
Package Number: 1111-1077-2646
Number under stamp: 2692 475
Stamp: Polar Bear
From East Texas P&DC 757
Date: April 06, 2010 - blackey replies to annoyedThanx,I just got the same today and it had been forewarded from my normal mailing address..just a scam I suppose.
- Pimpology101Same postcard for me. Postmarked East, Texas; polar bear stamp; 2965 441 behind stamp; package # 1111-1797-5255. I called outside of business hours to see what message I'd get. Recording said to call back during hours. I'm not gonna call. Thanks everyone! Found you guys from a bing.com search. I'm going to start an e-mail and forward it to everyone, telling them to not to call! By the way, I became suspicious when I saw the postmark and stamp. A real delivery notice is never mailed to you. It is filled out on the spot and left at the location by the delivery man. Something to watch out for!
