This is some kind of scam. A recorded message to my phone which is on the National Do-Not-Call list. Something about new Federal law that I can only make one call a month on my cell phone. I have an AT&T phone with unlimited service so this is a scam.
I've tried to get this company to stop the calls which have hit 3-6 times a day now from 3 different numbers, all with the same recording. The humans that answer are in India or some place other than the USA, are ususally rude and always clueless. This 'company' has no customer service and no way to stop the calls.

If the call is from a human, get a whistle.

This call IS Safelink reminding you that to keep your service on, you must make at least ONE CALL a month.  IT DOES NOT SAY "YOU CAN ONLY MAKE ONE CALL A MONTH!" Some people just do not listen very well.  And quit using f....ng fowl language you f.... ng idiot!!!  LOL

Why would Safelink call a customer of AT&T with an unlimited wireless plan?

It is a message from Safelink which is the government free phone through Tracfone.  Those who have this phone have what is called Lifeline for low income people.  There are income guidelines for this phone and free minutes every month.  What the message says is that Safelink customers have to make at least one call a month to keep their service active.  NOT that they can only make one call a month.  

Just got a automated call now from something called "Safelink" stating my trac phone service was going to be discontinued.  Interesting since the phone call went thru my land line and I do not have a cell phone at all!!!  I hung up after the first 5 seconds knowing that the longer scammers like this can keep a connection live, the better they can hack into any info they can grab on you.

Safe link phone update. If you have a Safe Link phone you must make at least 1 phone call a month to keep your Safe Link device. Not a scam.

Call from SafeLink reminding me that I must make at least one call per month to retain my service. The call does come on my land line, not on my cell, but it does refer to the cell phone service.

I get the same call.  Its from Safe Link, the free minutes phone.  But it say's I NEED to make at least 1 call a month to continue the free service and have my phone ON the first 3 day's of the month in order to receive my minutes, but you are right pressing the do not call anymore does nothing, they continue to call even when I have made a call.

this is legitamite call from Safelink service....it is a reminder to make a minimum of 1 call per month to keep service acrive. Safelink is service for those   who cannot afford regular phone service
