A man w/ an inner city tone of voice called my home phone saying a lot of unprofessional accusations. This number needs to be removed from their privilege of phone service in my opinion. Made me agitated to say the least.
    Sincerely.

They are a collection agency that specializes in debts that are beyond the statute of limitations.  They buy bad debt from other collection agencies. They have no business ethics at all.   I used to get collection attempts from them for a Hispanic woman and could not convince them that I didn't know the woman. I changed my phone number and they followed me to the new number - so now they know I am not that person but still call me twice a day every day.  The phone company could/would not do anything about them so I bought a call screening device that blocks them from ringing my phone.  Even though I don't hear them, I still remove them twice a day from the caller ID cue.  ---
If all of us would turn them in every single time to the Do Not Call complaint line eventually they would get tired of us reporting them and do something.

Just got a call from NCO financial Systems looking for someone...  I let the call go, but I called back to let them know they are not allowed to call me back, and the man named Michael became instantly rude with me.  I told him I don't appreciate the initial call or his attitude and he spouted some nonsense about me needing to be professional with him before he'd treat me with respect.  What an ass.

There needs to be something done about this recent spate of debt collection companies using these tactics.  I get more calls from people fishing for information lately, and it's getting more than annoying.

The problem is that the penalties are not big enough for companies like these when they violate the FDCPA regulations. So they don;t care and they continue the unlawfull collection practices. I do know that if you send them a cease and desist letter (certified so you have proof they signed for it) and they call again you can proceed with taking them to court. Maybe we should all get together in a type of class action against them. From what I have heard they are the worst of there kind.

I've been getting a rash of calls from this number...even though I tell them I'm not the person they are looking for...they persist to call.  I've asked them to remove me from the call list, since I'm not the person they are looking for, but they say they can not, until they know my name.  I'm afraid to give them my real name, as I feel that it is a scam.

I got a call today from a guy named Eric I answered my phone he said JAMES. that is my husband I said that is a guys name and I am a female. And nope he is not here he said I need a number I can contact him at. I said if you needed him you would have that number cause our home phone is not the phone we use. I researched to find out what NCO is and I also run our credit report often there is nothing they would be calling us over. I think its a scam.

This number calls my phone all the time looking for someone else and they do not believe me when I tell them wrong number. Very rude and stupid, can not believe they can get away with this. Will be filing a suit or/and with FCC.

This place calls at all hours of the day and night. We never answer the phone, but now know who it is. We do not have voicemail on our line, just a fax machine so they get to hear the pinging after it picks up. We are on the DO NOT CALL list, but that does not seem to matter to solicitors or bill collectors.

Getting calls from this same caller 2 to 3 times a day everyday for the last 2 weeks or so. Never answered the call. Sometimes message left, sometimes not. My husband picked up the phone tonight and the caller asked for me. He gave me the phone and the caller informed me, after verifying my identity, that the call was in regards to my well overdue student loan payment. That I apparently voluntarrily sent a $50 fee payment along with a signed promisory note back in 1993 and never paid my loan. HUH?!? To begin with I never ever have applied for any student loan in my life. My husband, yes, but not me. The kicker is, they have all my pertinent informations (full name, date of birth and SS#) and correct except for my address. The odd thing is, I've never ever received any billing for it either. The caller, whom I did not get the name (I know, I should have), is a female and is very business like the way she spoke to me. She told me that will send me a copy of the promisory note that I supposedly had signed back in 1993 and she wanted ne to check the signature on it. Now I'm a little worried that somebody had stolen my identity and will start receiving bills for something I had not incurred, or I have just gotten taken for illegal purposes.
