From what I gather, this company buys bad debits and tries to collect on them. This sort of thing has happened to me a few times.

Received a call at 8:05 in the morning from 205 259 5309. Caller ID indicated Birmingham, AL. Not recognizing the number I didn't answer but a message was left for Avia Mar, a person I have never heard of. The message said they had a complaint against her and to call 888 482 3875 to find out the nature of the complaint. They also left a reference number.

i received the same call, i didn't understand? they said i submitted ficticious credit info???? i have no credit cards so isk what they are talking about?

I received a call from 888-482-3875 stating they had a "complaint" against me.  They used my prior name, not my married name.  The caller tried to say I owed for a credit card debt from over 14 years ago.  They even had my social security number but I would not acknowledge it or the debt.  The caller was pretty nasty.  I told her I would have to research this since I had no knowledge of any such debt and she said "we will go ahead and process this and you can tell it to the judge."  I laughed and hung up.

The sta of limitation in most states is 7 years.  In some states its 6 years

They ID themselves as  Alternative Disputes Resolution Services. The name is basically scammer double-talk for some kind of debt collector.  No idea where they are located.   Ignore their calls and block them.

Possibly this group:  http://www.ncwbilling.com    They use ADR as a dba sometimes.  Bad history on 800notes.

I also got a call from a number with a 415 area code.  It left 888-482-3875 to call back saying I had a complaint against me.  They used my maiden name as opposed to my married name like another person stated happened to her above.  Time to add to my block list!

You can turn them in to the District Attorney - the local news refers to them as scammers.

What they are doing is illegal and considered harrassment and if caught..THEY have to pay in court - they shut up pretty quick when you tell them you know the law and what they are doing is illegal and costly to them. They have all your information & they know that scares you - that is what extortion operates by..FEAR

They can do the con because they feel nothing... Scum of the earth in the same camp as the rest of the vulnerability preditors on the make from conning theives to brutal rapists that pose as home inspectors. Theres a place next to Hitler waiting for them.  The slime that showed up at my front door after my husband died..Oppertunistic parasites with smiling mouths & hungry eyes.

I received a call from this number. They said  they would have me sent to  jail for a Spiegel credit card debt from 1998! I have never had any such card. Also referred to me by maiden name.

I have received two phone calls about 3 weeks apart from #310-579-6133  and a computerized voice message was left saying You would think that people smart enough to pull off this scam would use their intelligence to do something more satisfying and honest.
