    They hijacked my MAC.
Made me call them, and they stated that they worked for Apple - then they took over my MAC -- told me that my online fix will cost me 500 to 800 dollars.
I now feel that all my passwords and accounts have been compromised and I have to change all my passwords, and bank accounts.

I hope you didn't pay them anything and that you took your Mac to a known professional tech support company, if not the Apple Store.

You're right about your information being compromised, however, if you let the stranger take control of your computer.

Although I didn't answer the call, it is disturbing that they called on my cell phone.

Figure this one out? Someone called today at 3:48pm while I was on the line to my doctor. After I hung up noticed I had a voice msg. I first looked to see who called under Recent Calls. Here is exactly how the number showed up ? 5839. Yeah, a question mark & 4 numbers. Have you ever seen anything like that? Went to voice mail & they kept saying the same thing over & over something about a security breach & red flag on their end. You could hardly understand what they were actually trying to say accept my computer has a virus on it & to call them as soon as possible at 888-488-7808. They said this 4 to 5 times. Made me so mad because I pay f/my minutes & they spent about 5 min. saying this message over & over.

I got this same call, a recorded message.  I called my computer repair guy and he said to ignore it. I don't trust anyone I don't personally know, unless it is a reputable company to work on my computer.  I am very untrusting now as I have been scamed in the past.

Recieved a number of voice mail messages from this number telling me to call because a "red flag" had gone up in connection with a computer program they had installed earlier this year.  My computer was under an extended warranty/service agreement with a legitimate company, so I called to have them look over my computer to confirm everything was okay.  (It was.)  Then I still kept getting calls from this number.  When I finally called them back today, I spoke with a male with a thick Indian accent.  I asked him to identify specifically what company he worked for and what Microsoft program he claimed sent a red flag (as I have a Mac and seldom, if ever, use the Microsoft Office suite I have installed on it).  He tried to repeat his line about being tech support and whatnot.  When I told him that I wanted the information for his company so I could confirm that this was legitimate and not a scam, he hung up on me.  Hopefully this will take me off of their "people to call" list.

Same as all above--told me there was a problem with softwear they put on my computer a year ago and that there was a security breach.  They have been calling regularly for 2 months, even after being told there is no problem with our computer and to stop calling.  My next step is the Attorney General's office.  So frustrating.

How about not answering in any way? They won't listen to the stop calling part, it's not understood in their language. Not giving them any kind of answer gets them disgusted eventually and they'll get tired of calling numbers that have no answer.

Left same kind of message & even mentioned something about bringing a lawyer into it. I let the guy have it, told him he was a fraud & should google the number. I told him i dont trust him. And if he has a problem with something, i want it in writing old school letter form.

I did answer one time, when they said they were calling from Microsoft I laughed at them and said I'm sure you are since I'm such an important customer and hung up -- now they call 2 or 3 times a day, I just let it go to Voicemail and then delete. Should just block the number but then they'll call from another.

Calls are persistent at least twice a day for weeks now.  I don't answer.  Sometimes they leave a message other times they don't.   Becoming very annoying.

I get a call from this # about 6 times a day on my cell phone, I don't answer it but it's annoying to stop what I'm doing and see who's calling.
