This is Onstar from GM vehicles. ALL Canadian users of Onstar MUST update their hardware and sign up for a service plan under new rules. The CRTC has changed the way they used to be able to operate in Canada. It isn't a scam, and if you don't tell them you wishes you Onstar will cease to function next year.

I called the GM dealership. You do NOT need to this update unless you use OnStar services.

It is Onstar, I cancelled a few months go (Nov) yet they continue to call on a regular basis even though I have told them not to contact me
