    Not stupid
Scott Davis called my office and asked for my boss, whose name Scott didn't know, and left a voicemail on my boss's line saying that a complaint had been filed against me, left a fake callback # 888-490-1504, left a file number, spoke very very fast, did not identify the company he was calling from, or the nature of the "complaint."  Straight up phishing fraud.

I got a call from Bloom Financial 3 weeks ago telling me I was being sued. They made an offer to settle for 30% less than I was being sued for. I made the agreement but never hear from them again. When I got served at work I called and was told that the settlement was no longer on the table and that I had to pay all the fees to stop the suit. As with other sites, I'm convinced that the "Not Stupids" are in fact, STUPID because they are Bloom Financial trying to get us to drop our guard then get served and stuck with all these fees. Don't fall for it, make them stick to the settlements they offer.

I was called the other day by a server named Tory Conn.... Tory conn informed me that I was being sought after for a legal complaint that was filed against ...me???....Legal complaint?!?!....I am a law abiding citizen that goes to work everyday and pays my bills, taxes and child support......or so I thought after received this strange phone call I decided to call  the number they gave to me and spoke to a man who shall remain nameless......I was then informed that I had an outstanding credit debit that I failed to pay on and they wanted to sue me I couldn't believe it....after careful review I got back to B F G and they help me to clear this debt with something they called the hardship settlement program what was an outstanding ugly 2.000 dollar debt turned into a 700 dollar one time payment ....I was shocked I could not believed that someone out there had the power to do such a thing and a heart.... usually when you deal with people like this it gets mean and nasty and there is no justice for the person being held responsible...but they decided to  turn that outstanding debt into a one time 700 dollar payment needless to say I am now doing major moves with my credit and  keeping all my responsibilities in line.......

Had a simular call about 2 months ago. This time this guy, Jerry Thomas said I had a complaint on me. Left a message on my work phone and my cell phone. He said I need to call this number to find out what pending action I have against me. Also left a case #. I looked up the number on a cite called Reverse Phone Lookup. it said this is not a legit #. wish I could find out how to get them to stop calling me.

I talked to Rick Davis from this outfit and he gave me a settlement number. I gave my debit information and I guess it was nsf. Anyway I got no call or anything. Yesterday a really rude ni**ger showed up at my job and left papers with my boss. I have left 2 messages for Davis and no return calls. These guys are [***]!

This company is a debt collection agency.  This office called me claiming to be a process server and had to process serve me and wanted my address.  When I asked them which municipality the complaint was served they claimed that the package was sealed and could divulge that information and I had to talk with their legal department.  That is when I spoke to Scott Davis and he berated me and claimed I was a credit criminal.  This action violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  I am sure with them claiming to be process servers and not that it violates other laws by pretending to be Officers of the Court.  NOTE: Never agree to any settlement offer.  Any agreements to settle starts the clock ticking again for statute of limitations.  Many of these debts can't be collected any more because of Statute of Limitations.  When you agree to a settlement then decide not to pay you may be obligated due to the resetting of the Statute of Limitations.

    MEA DEDBEET replies to Michael
So, what this genius is really saying is:

BE A DEADBEAT......DON'T SETTLE WHAT YOU OWE BECAUSE IT STARTS THE LEGAL CLOSK TICKING AGAIN.

    NOTICE FOLKS:

IT DIDN'T MENTION "WHEN" THE STATUTORY PERIOD BEGAN AND ENDED OR WHAT CONSTITUTES SAID PERIOD, JUST DON'T SETTLE.

As has previously been alluded to, this creature works for the very company he claims to be whining about. It's become an old scam as they really don't want settlements, they want law suits because that's where the REAL money is (interest, fees, etc).

DON'T FALL FOR IT! YOU'LL END UP PAYING DOUBLE OR MORE.

Not one of them replies to Tracy L.
I am writing in regard to your reply to Not So Stupid. I am not one of them. I truly did get a call from them and another one today, Feb. 23rd about the same thing as 2 other times. My husband called  them the second time and they were berating me saying they didn't know what frame of mind I was in but it was my debt. Very rude and inconsiderate. Same coments as evryone posted here. How do you get them to quit calling?

As Flo from the old show "Alice" would say "KISS MY GRITS!"

I had this guy Michael Jones/Scott Davis call me and almost scam me out of $2300 for a credit card that was already paid off. He's been harrassing my family and now my co-workers saying all kinds of crap, to try and scare me into giving him this money. DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY. Its a scam. He pretends to be an attorney and a process server.

Rob Mie replies to Try again sucka!
Yeah, "Sucka" don't try to pay what you owe. Fall for the scams and end up sued. I know, they know, we all know it's the company trying to get suckers not to resolve what they owe so they can get sued and pay more fees. Try your scam on another site this ones all used up!
