Why can't businesses get on the do not call list!!!!

This phone number called my office like 20 times everyday.  I called them back and got no answers.

Our company also receives rude and persistant calls from this number. Nor do they answer when you attempt to call back!

Calling every day tying up our telephone lines

I talked with a woman she was very persistent in trying to sell a credit card service. tried several angles to convince me. She was quite nice. I finally told her that it was really nice talking to her, that she had a very pleasant voice and was good at what what she was doing, but I do not want to take cards for the work i do. I told her she was so nice that i did not want to hang up on her rudely, and again I was not going to offer credit card services for my customers to pay. I said politely I was  going to hand up, she said have a nice day, I said it back to her, and thanked her for her politeness to me. I"ll let you know if it stops the calls.

Ten plus calls from this cracker jack company to my biz line!! when I finally got the person on the line they said Arlene will be in your area and we just need 20 min of your time on how we can save you 30% over your current credit card. I said put her on the line, she replied I only make appts, I said have her call me then, sorry sir I cant do that, what her number then?.. SIR! your not listening to me! (then i get fired up!)! why not mam!?... cuz sir i cant! I totld the b#$%H nerver to call again, she says sure, the call ended..

Receive 5+ calls at our business from this number daily. They hang up when I answer

These calls are tying up our phone lines and very frustrating.  They call mulitple times a day, and when we answer it is dead air, then the call hangs up.  We have spoken to two people and received two different names for this company:  U of A Merchant Card and US Bank Card.  After doing some research on the BBB website I found that they have an A+ rating.  Not really sure how, with thier irritating business practices.  I have reported them to the FTC and filed a complaint with the BBB.

Remember, people. File complaints at www.donotcall.gov, www.fcc.gov and www.bbb.org.   Also, call them and fax them and tell them EXACTLY what you think of their annoying and harassing calls. it's the ONLY way to get them to stop

Answered phone. They just sat there like a knot on a log. Finally, I said "Helloooooo", I heard him say "Hello" and he hung up. This crap should be against the law. If I want something, I get online to find it or call someone to get it. Stop harrassing the crap out of us while we are at work! JEEEZ!

Make them stop interrupting a business day with their rude people calling.

The BBB is a joke these companies can PAY for their ratings.... so a AAA rating is basically BS!!

Answered phone before I was able to say hello company name the lady asked for our president while i was speaking I asked her what she said she stated name again and I asked her if she had his last name she repeated what what and then stated it. I put her on hold for awhile and she hung up.

Someone calls from this number muptiple times a day.  She always askes for the owner by first name and when I say he's not available she then asks for a manager, which we don't have one... so I told her no there isn't a manager she can speak to and she hung up on me.  Rude, rude people.  We aren't going to let you talk to the owner so STOP CALLING!!!  GET A CLUE!

The phone rings; I begin with a greeting .... nothing responds from the other end. I telephoned the number displayed on my Caller ID; called the number and it just rings and rings.  Very annoying and most inconsiderate. Hopefully, there will be no other calls from this number.

Second time they've called office. First time tried selling some credit card crap. Second time they hung up when I answered. Just noting this site so when they call again I can tell them to go F themselves.
