- Anonymous| 1 replyI recently bought a used car and have received numerous solicitations from the company to whom the number 888-494-1449 belongs to. It is called Motor Vehicle Services and their purpose is to sell you an extended warranty on your vehicle. I have only received mailers but no calls. Still very annoying!

- Josh| 1 replyMuch like the above. An automotive insurance company trying to sell an extended warranty ten years after I bought my car. They are completely relentless and I'm about to start looking for lawyers. I don't even own the damn car anymore.

- JThese guys are "Motor Vehicle Services" trying to sell an extended warranty on your car. They were sending me stuff in the mail but i called them today and the supposedly took my name off their list.... Hopefully it will work.
- wlc in ncI received mail from this outfit....if ou are not alert you may spend some money as that is what they are after.
since we got our car new in July, 2014 with an extended warranty, I just ignored the offer....- Caller: Got info vial snail mail
- Concerned consumer| 1 replyI bought a used car in January 2015. Since then I've received several unsolicited notices/FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY from this company. What I really want to know is how the freak did they get my information. The dealership? Vehicle Registration? It's disturbing how much of our info is just handed over to anyone.
- Caller: Just mailers
- Concerned consumer replies to JoshIt reminds me of a company the was the focus on an episode of American Greed.
- Friggin AnnoyedI called this company before reading the fine print. Thinking they were from the Chevrolet dealer in which I purchased my car. I was almost pushed into buying extended warranty with them. They were very aggressive and in the end when they realized I wasn't buying very irate. Who do I report these guys to? Better Business Bureau?

- G replies to Concerned consumerI bought my car through a private seller on craigslist, no loans, just the bank. No idea how they got my info, their "deadline" passed but they are still sending "final" notices. The only other people that know I bought the car are my insurance company, USAA, and the NC DMV
- fedup| 1 replyFind out the provider or source of this number and you may get them to stop bugging you faster. There are countless mail/phone communication networks out there but find them and share it.
We may be better off fighting this run amok battle than the FTC.
Less than a year ago I bought a 2014 and just got a flyer that had my name wrong. Go to the comucatitions sources that provides our info. Vs the crap that buys the listing of our info. It's accountability. Research the small print.
Also, pound on the Uspo Permit #s The USPO needs to be accountable as well. What does Permit .ll 92831 mean on this crap mailer??? This mailer I just got gives no address so why is the USPO bothering to mail it? Demand to be a consumer and the right to know who is giving out your info. When you buy something you should state that you do not want your info share, rented or sold. Don't bow down to receiving something that does not have a return address delivered by USPO. it's bogos and USPO needs to stop theses mailings.
I will be contacting the dealer and giving them my hi ho to make sure they do no not share, rent my info. We need to push for better protection of our privacy. Pound on your State Attorney General's door as the FTC Do not call registry is not doing anything.- Caller: vehicle service center
- jan dellThey have been sending out notices. I called Castriota Chevrolet in FL to ask them to stop these notices. Now they are calling me on my cell phone. The agency is the same as noted above but the number locally used is in Clearwater, 727-222-1915. I told them I am on the Do Not Call Registry and I am keeping track of their phone calls so that I can sue them. It has to be the dealer that is giving away our information. How would they get my cell phone number?????
- Caller: Motor Vehicles
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jan dell replies to fedupI agree with you but the dealership denies, denies, denies. See my comments further down.
- AbbieWell I receive a Final Notice also and yes the dealership gets money for selling our names to the marketers...they can send letters all they want. It is there money to mail cost on them. I work for a medical facility they need to have the same law forbidding to give out your private info...
- Caller: 2014 Toyota (want to sell extended warranty

- Gordon SchumwayFor several obvious reasons, the vehicle warranty threat I received by postal mail is a putrid scam, likely aimed at the elderly. If I do not promptly send money, it screams that I will be "FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR REPAIRS". OMG-DUH.
Details of those obvious reasons have been reported to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service as of today.- Caller: Vehicle Service Center (aka whatever)
- Achin Jomes replies to AnonymousComplete SCAM!
- John| 1 replySimilar experiences as noted by others. Received a letter with a "Final Notice" for a 2014 MINI we bought new in Feb 2014. Was told I "qualified" for the platinum level. When I asked of the relationship with MINI, they gave an answer implying a relationship. Pressed further, they got a bit nervous about giving an answer. Finally, he got abusive when I told him I would need to check with the dealer about what our specific coverage was and call them back if I was interested.
In any event, the standard warranty on our MINI is 4yr/50K bumper-to-bumper, and we had bought the extended service warranty to 2020/100K, on the advise of an outside mechanic we use for our other, older German car.
Don't fall for this!- Caller: Motor Vehicle Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Vanessa replies to JohnI keep getting these unwanted mailings from them. The first thing that I noticed was that they didn't send a return envelope or have a return address. Mines is also a Final Notice. When I called, one guy named Aaron told me to hold on. I held the line when another guy came on, but I was quiet. He first said that his name was Robert, but I was quiet...then he said his name was Charles. I told him I wanted information and when he found out I was not buying into this, he hung up on me. I called back and asked them to remove my name from the mailing list as well as I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.
- wrong person to tick off today| 1 replyAccording to BBB.org, the company & address info is as follows: Vehicle Service Center, 1241 Jungermann Rd., Saint Peters, MO 63376-6941, formerly a game shop in a strip mall shopping center. There is a fictitious name filing for "Vehicle Services Center" so the printed name of the company on the mailing is incorrect because it says "Service" instead of "Services." That doesn't really matter, though, because the responsible entity is the owner of the fictitious name, not the fictitious name (which is not a business entity itself). The registered owner of the fictitious Vehicle Services Center name is BVE Marketing, LLC, which corporationwiki.com says is managed by Preston J. Pierce, listed as being "in his 20's." According to a filing viewable for free at sunbiz.org, his email address is ppierce@bvemktg.com, his phone number is (314) 713-0819, and BVE's federal tax ID is 47-1726167. BVE was created under the laws of Missouri on September 25, 2014 with Bernard J. Bank originally listed as the registered agent at the Jungermann Road address (they changed it to CT Corporation System this March). Corporationwiki.com lists a Bernard J. Bank as a member of the defunct Quick Cash, Inc. in Las Vegas as well as other entities no longer in existence.
NONE of the above information suggests this company could be a legitimate, stable, and/or trustworthy automotive services warranty insurance business, but they do seem to be legally registered to do business and I suspect they are probably not breaking the letter of any relevant laws or at least feel safe in denying knowledge of any intentional wrongdoing. But in my case, they are clearly being misleading since their mailing implies prior attempts to notify me even though they have been registered to conduct business in my state for only one month. If they want to sell warranties, fine; but trying to be tricky risks blowback. Be straight with your customers and earn an honest living.
To sum up: if you want to complain to the owners or report the company to the USPS, the responsible entity is BVE Marketing, LLC. If you only submit either variation of the name on the mailing, time will be wasted.- Caller: Vehicle Service Center
- SCHMUCKI believe these people are purchasing their info from SIRIUS/XM. I purchased a Sirius/XM receiver that was taken off a Toyota 4Runner (which I never owned), When I registered the radio, Sirius/XM had my subscription tied to this 4Runner.
These warranty scammers have tried and tried to sell me an extended warranty on said vehicle. The ONLY people that "think" I own a 4Runner are Sirius/XM and these people. I highly doubt that the people I bought the radio from contacted Warranty Scammers to send them my info. - SE Wisconsin replies to wrong person to tick off todayThanks for your great detective work! I received a U.S. Postal Service marketing letter (junk mail) from these folks today, they actually have a website which is listed below. In February, I received a nearly identical mail piece from "Auto Service Agency." Apparently these folks use various aliases and websites for their extended auto warranty scam.
