The number called my house and when I said hello I was asked (abruptly I might add) if X (another person in the house) was available. I replied with "I think she's working, can I help you?" and they hung up. I called the number back and received only a partial machine message "are available to take your call", and then I was disconnected. These people are not just bothersome but rude as well and unresponsive upon returned call.

I received a call from them just a moment ago as well.  There was silence when I answered, no response to my repeated "hello?".  Upon calling them back a recorded message was played stating "no one is available to take your call at the moment" just like the previous comment stated.

I just received this too, like the others above. Who is it? I've been receiving other non-888 phone calls day and night from across the US. No hang up, no voice. I just hang up. Middle of the night phone calls are the worst. I sleep thru most, thank goodness.
