I got an automated message from this company at this number. They left the 1 888 508 3170 number asking me to call back in regards to something about my mother. When I explained my mother hasn't lived in the country for over 2 decades and therefore there couldn't be a debt - the agent caught an attitude, yelled at me, told me my mother would be summoned back to the US and then hung up on me. Can we say SCAM?

I'm assuming they are a debt collection agency but the call never got far enough to tell.

Got a call from this number also saying my mother in law had an outstanding credit card....never had that card. Very nasty, demanding, same as above. They want social security number and other items. They said it is going to court and won't send any papers to us. The number belongs to Patriarch Partners LLC 888-508-3170, check out the website, what a joke!!!! Calling state of NJ and filing!!!

I received a call today from 888-508-3170 with no company name, no representative name but only with a "complaint number" and urging me to call back?  i don't even know who or what they are or how they have my number.  how to i go about filing a complaint against them?

I just rec'd the same call automated system saying some complaint against me and then I called the number--- someone answers the phone don't say who this is----then ask for the complaint number and asked me to hold----did not come back for three minutes and I hung up. I will check my phone records to see if this was someone trying to use my number or what but I did not wait for them to come back. I hung up.

seems to be debt collectors that bought old debts and are harassing people to get collection on them they wont give you any information until you verify who you are and your ssn so just tell them goodby

I had the same thing happen to me all of the above.  Although, they said I owed a loan with Key bank and I was going to summoned at 5pm this evening.   I called them 3 times and they kept hanging up on me until I got another fool that actually talked to me and told me the bank was suing me.    lol   I called Key bank right away to confirm any loans and they said I had no loans or accounts that are in collection or has ever been in collections.   SCAM for sure.    I did apply for a car loan and after I did this I was worried because the car place called me back to gather more info and they sounded as if they were out of the country.   (foreign)  They said I wasn't approved... so I went someone local and got approved.    Beware of EVERYONE!   lol

I got a call from an 870 number in Arkansas, leaving an 888 number.  Upon calling back I was told that I was caught on tape using a credit card in 2000-2001 and for me to write down a case number and that I was going to be summoned to court.  I shot my credit out in 1995 so this was not me.  The operator told me that if I went to court that I could have to pay $4000 but if I want to volunteer to pay today I could pay $903.  When I let them know I have never heard about this, that I payed off all creditors 3 years ago and that I would need to see paper work, I was bulldozed withe same information, telling me I was going to court.  It had me spooked to a point I actually thought of paying them.  I am GRATEFUL that I looked up the two numbers first

You would be better off to assume -- or be assured -- that it's a scam, not a legitimate debt collector.

  Received a call today, from this number, urging me to call back and give me an account number to use. I received the call at home and on my cell phone. How did they get both numbers ?. I`m glad I checked here before calling them back. No return calls from me, scammer dudes.
    As a matter of fact, call me again and see what I have to say. I`m a police officer and will file harassment charges against whom ever owns this phone number.

I received a call from this phone number stating that I owe money for something that I never had, for a bank account that never existed in a state that I never resided in. After mentioning that I would contact my family attorney the agent became very vulgar & yelled obscenely. I'm reporting this # is associated with fraudulent activity. Please be aware.

Received a call from 888-508-3170, saying they received documents with a complaint with my name attached. I never call these people back. Screw them!

Received call today from 702-835-6964 supposedly originating from Las Vegas. The message they left stated that they have complaint documents with my name on it and if I wanted to find out what the complaint is, to call 888-508-3170 and reference a complaint number. Curiosity led me to call back and a girl answered the phone but never said what company she is at just some bogus name. I gave her the complaint number and she put me on hold, next thing I know there's a dial tone. So, naturally, I called back and got this guy so I gave him the complaint number and right away he wants me to confirm who I am. I asked him if he found the complaint because I called before and was hung up on and he said he didn't find the complaint but I still needed to confirm who I am. I told him that since he didn't find the complaint then there was no need for me to be speaking with him and then I hung up even though I could hear him still speaking. Frankly, I know full well that this is a SCAM. I don't know anyone in Las Vegas and if there was a complaint filed on me, I'd know immediately because I work for the local PD. These scammers need to give it a rest already and stop harassing law abiding citizens, ugh!!!

I also received a call  from this 888-508-3170 number today, April 30th.  They (unidentified source), said they had received documents pertaining to a complaint against (a recording comes on with my voice saying my name) me, and, that I needed to call this number immediately.  They also, left a reference to my case with this #2498643.  I did call back but from another phone.  When she answered she says something like paralegal dept., no company name no identification.  She left me on hold for about 3 minutes so I hung up.  Within a minute I receive a call back from 888-508-3117, and when I answered she says "Can I speak to April please" (not my name) and, I said you've called the wrong number and I hung up.  Long story longer........I then redialed that #3117, and it was now disconnected!!! Ironic don't you think?  Then I called the original number back #3170 and this time she answered with "What do you want?"  I simply said, "I want you to stop calling me and everyone else you're scamming, because you have been reported".  She says "Good Luck" and hangs up on me.  I'm sure that number is magically disconnected as well.  Don't answer any calls you do not recognize.  I just want to know not only how she got my cell number, but how did she get my voice with my entire name on a recording?

Received a call saying I own money on a Chase card in my maiden name and wanting me to pay a settlement. Said I was sent documents to my address which I never received. Threatened me that the next step is court.

I received a call from this number. They said that I had a compliant filed against me. The brought up an old debt that I had when I was in college that I actually paid off some time ago. The agent was rude and started screaming expletives. I am really concerned about this call if it is indeed a SCAM. They had my social security number and my address. Should I be worried it they quoted that information to me? Should I contact the credit bureaus and place a fraud alert on my information?

I got a prerecorded call from 8885083170. They had my name and said a complaint had been filed against me. They also called my previous work number with the same recording. I did some research and discovered they are a shady collections outfit that tries to collect old debts or fake debts you don't even owe. Steer clear.

they called my business and house with message of a complaint with documents. figured it was a scam!

Got a call from this number saying I owed a Bank over 1,000.00 Jackie was the person on the other end..... I called the bank and they could not verify any account that  I opened......SCAM.......SCAM.........CAM

I got the same call someone saying a complaint as been filled against me and if I dont call back I will be going to jail...

I have received several calls with this same recording, but one call came from Florida, another from Illinoizz (I'm from there so I can call it that) and yet another from New York. To say it is a scam is the understatement of the week. We have a Cyber Crime Unit at our local Police Department, and they have been notified of these calls. I strongly suggest all of you do the same. In most cases, you do not need to know the company name to report them, just their phone numbers. I also suggest getting a good phone with an answering machine to screen calls, and the ability to block these calls.

The calls come from 321-247-9461 and 217-666-8095, and they want you to call 888-508-3170 and 884-986-3742. There was one other call that I deleted before writing down the numbers.
