I have received 3 calls in the past week from this number.  The name is Medical Benefits Association.  I am current on the Do Not Call List

Rec'd call on cell phone from this number.  I did not answer, as number was not programmed into my cell phone caller ID.  I am on DoNotCall list, but that is not supposed to have anything to do with cell phones.  Telemarketers are forbidden by law to call cell phones.

Got two calls from (888) 514-5824 which I didn't answer because I was at work.  Minutes later got a call from (514) 555-1212 which is the information number with the area code for Quebec.  Could these two be related?

I am on a do not call list and I still get a call everyday from 888-514-5824 on my cellphone. It is quite annoying and the phone company said the only way to block it was to fill out a report with the police. They can't be serious!!!!! I guess those do not call lists really don't work!!!

Got a call from these people at 2:50am ... This is ridiculous.

Got a call at 2:05 am, answered it and was told to call back during business hours as the office is closed now. they did not leave a number. I also am on the do not call list and i'm going to sue them for damages because, loss of sleep.

I received call 3:18am said found medical insurance for only $3 a day. I am on do not call list also. Don't these people have to pay fine if we report them to the do not call registry?

Called at 3:18 am - We answered the phone and there was a pre recorded message that this was a public service announcement and they had important information about Health Benefits.We hung up.

Keep recieving calls... When you try to call back it's constantly busy...

these guys have called me at least six times in the last 72 hours.

Received calls continuously over the past week.  Attempted to call back to find number not available.

Called my cell, glad I didn't pick up.

I have received this call every day for the past week at the exact same time. The first couple I did not answer. When I did answer either the call was dropped or they hung up. Is there any way to let someone know about this and stop the calls.

Keep receiving calls from this number for the past week everyday !! very annoying. The first time I picked up, no sound. When I don't pick up, they leave a voice message for two seconds every single time with no sound either ! I have blocked them on my cell phone now, althought the phone calls are blocked, they still are leaving voice messages for two seconds with no sound every day. I check the voice messages because I don't know if it's someone I know who left it. What is this phone call doing? Am I charged money for anything?

Twice I've had an Unknown caller id, when I answer it is an automated message from the Medical Benefits Association.  Press 1 to find out more, press 2 to have your number taken off the list.

I decided to press 1 today and quiz the gentleman about how they got my number and explained what they are doing is illegal.  

He ended up hanging up on me - which makes a nice change I think.

Received text message "GE-Credit Union KSFE alert 355744. Please call 888-514-3547"  Caller ID has 917-978-6488 as the number.  New York, New York wireless provider.  Of course I did not call.  And deleted it.

Recieved a text message at 10:30 today that read  From: (Unverified-sender) (9174466534) WellFargoBank EVFN alert943657. Please call 8885143547  The CB: 917-446-6534
I did not contact...looks suspicious, if urgent Wells will call me! I never had a text like this and I use to be afilliated with Wells Fargo also had Identity theft through Wells Fargo.

Went to a Report Spams site and This person had this comment.

I am in GA received a TXT from number 9174782115 to call this number 888-514-3547 regarding a "(Sun-Trust-Bank) Alert. Please call (888)-514-3547". I did call from another phone, got an automated service advising that my "card has been locked. Please hold and have your card info..." I hung up. Don't bank at ST and did not provide any info.

On another website a person named Jerry got the call 14 hrs ago listed this:

Someone else stated
Claimed to be my banking provider (wells fargo) and says to call them. Not going to because I looked it up first. Scam. Don't call.
