I spoke to them- and checked the website- but they want colaterial.. 6 months payment in advance of the loan. Thus, on a 212.00 loan that would be 1276.00. That to me seems awful strange. Would not take my car that is worth more than that amount even though a 2000 Toyota as colaterial

Berkley Lending Group is a scammmmmmm dont trust them... I checked out the company and googled it and you cant believe how many people have been scamed already by this company and others just like it... I believe its the same people.. Just remember NO LEGIT LOAN COMPANY IS GOING TO ASK YOU TO SEND MONEY PERSON TO PERSON THROUGH MONEY GRAM and through another name that is not the company...REMEMBER THAT ONCE THE MONEY IS SENT INTERNATIONALY THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IT BACK...  PLEASE LET OTHERS KNOW... Received a call today from this Berkley Lending group asking for cash for collteral of 820.00 for a 5,000.00 loan. After filling out paperwork, promised money would be put into account within 24 hours. Person would have 6 months before next payment of 115.00 becomes due and could be paid off without penalty.  Loan has 6% interest  from a private investor.Sounds to good to be true. Was contacted by Gene Hunter at ext 593

I was also scammed, on a $5000 loan I had to pay $1640 and then all of a sudden the lender backed out, so they said they found another lender for $10,000 so I had to send it another $1640. When it was supposed to be in my account today Feb 19th all of a sudden the other lender backed out.  I also had to pay $3000 for a Canadian holding tax.  I thought this was too good to be true but I was so desperate I tried, now I am out $6300.  David Campbell keeps telling me I am going to get my money back but I know I am not, he also tells me that his boss Mr. Herman is trying also but for some reason won't let me talk to him. I started this process over a week and a half ago and I owe people money, phone has been turned off no groceries, etc...  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT get suckered into this as I have no I don't know what I am going to do. I am a single parent raising a teenage daughter.  What a fool I am.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. This site saved me from sending all my money to Berkley Lending Group. They also told me to send my money to a person in Canada. The people at Wal-Mart wouldn't send my money gram. They said there were to many scams coming from Canada. THANK GOD Wal-Mart is looking out for us too.

This is the real Monica Marker, My daughter is the one who wrote this and believe me she will be repremended by it. I have not been ripped off by this company, David Campbell has done nothing but tried to help me he has even made this a personal issue. Yes I spent that kind of money but this isn't over yet according to David he is trying to get my money back. As far as I know this is NOT a scam.

Why punish your daughter for a company scamming you because that is exactley what it is, Mr. Cambell is a joke he told me I would get our money back and I don't believe them not after reading these comments. These companies prey on people who are desperate and looking for money to help with their financial problems and what better time to do it then when our country is in economic turmoil. Trust me Monica you will not get your money back and the best thing for you to do is report to the FTC (Federal Trade Commision and the Better Buisness Bureau), they talk a good scam do not trust these people they are not even fit to be called Americans.

Reply to all:*Berkley Lending Group* My husband and I have been RIPPED OFF! Just last week! We stupidly did not research enough nor did we think! We as many others hit desperate times and believe anything when we are approved for what seems to be a "TO GOOD TO BE TRUE" and it usually is.. I felt something was up but my husband was convinced. We were sick to our stomachs after we got the call the next morning, AFTER we sent our 1224.00 TO CANADA!!! We were told if we came up with another 1200.00 we could get the 5,000. Now why would I pay half of a 5,000 loan up front? My gut knew something was not right, I was devastated, that was our only $ we had. I cried and cursed this supervisor(David Campbell). He had the audacity to say he was a professional and that he was not a scam artist!!! I was crying my eyes out. He basically said I offended him and if I could just come up with another 1200.00 we could secure the loan. Now if I had 2400.00 laying around why would I need a loan? After begging and pleading all I got was, we can give you a refund in 3 WEEKS! We were guaranteed a refund on March 5th + a 200.00 inconvenience fee. We got it via fax. Yeah!!! I have looked all over the web and just found this. We are going to make it our DUTY to make sure NOBODY else gets ripped off! How do people like this sleep at night? Please let us all work together and report them to the FTC. FEDERAL TRADE COMISSION! and anywhere else you can. Check your credit, be aware of identity theft.

'Advance fee' loans are illegal. That's why it's such a good scam. You are NOT getting any money back.

We have been approved! We had applied online. Due to our credit history we needed to pay 8 months worth of payments. It was called "cash collateral".. Assured it was normal practice.

Do NOT deal with them at all!!!! SCAM all the way.

Yes I also got a call today from a lady named stephanie at extension 372 she told me that I would recieve 5,000.00 but due to my slow credit I would have to send 900.00 to secure the loan at 6% at 151.00 a month for three years sounds great but it is fraud some company trying to rip people off that need a loan to get caught up on bills or whatever banks are not lending unless you have a one credit rite now believe me I have tried I am behind one bills due to my job cutting hours I am three months behind on my mortage and  others bills are pass due but I know alot of people going threw a ruff time rite now.I Feel realy sorry for the agents that work for this company I know they probably hate ripping people off but they need money to. But I do not feel sorry for there boss collecting money from people in need he will pay for his wrong doings maybe not in this life but in the next tell as many people as you can DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SORRY [***] COMPANY THEY SUCK........

FEEL SORRY? Are you nut's? The only way I would feel for them is if they have no idea who they are working for. I believe they do and this is a scam that is ran continuously with different Company names. My husband spoke again today with our so called "lender" Jason Walker. He claims to be legit and had an answer for every question my husband asked. He says we are getting a refund. If indeed (Ha Ha)on the 5th of March our $ is back in our account we will apologize and write a rebuttal on this site. They are good at what they do, that is why so many of us fall for it. How amazing that he said this problem just recently started with people getting turned down after they sent their HARD EARNED $ to them. Why? because this company, "fake company" just started.

i recieved a call today from  a lora miller  ex. 482 thankfully i didnt answer the call , i tryed to find their web site when i returned home i didnt find one luckly i found this site i just called her and asked for her not to call any more hope fully a honest company will come foreward and help the people in need instead of putting use into a deeper hole
