I just got a call from a Laurie at this number, telling me she got loan approval and would positively save me money.... I did a Google Search and it shows up for a California Capital Group, Inc.

Got a message yesterday from someone with a fast talking introduction who said, "Your loan on your morgage was approved," and call 888-518-7078.  I Googled and found out it is California Capital. The house belongs to my elderly mother, she owes nothing on it and has not applied for a loan.

This company, California Capital Group called me about my refinance. I have worked with the same company for 15yrs and have perfect credit. I was very skeptical about considering a different lender. I ended up moving forward with California Capital Group becuase they helped me audit what my current lender was offering me and ended up saving me a little over $300 per month over what my current lender had quoted by paying off some debt and getting me a much lower rate on the same exact type of loan! I can't believe I almost let my "loyalty" waste so much of my money! CCG was outstanding. They were fast, honest and reaslly cared about making sure I understood everything completely. Everyone should use them when considering a new mortgage loan.

I've gotten two different messages from this number. The number in the message says 888-518-7078. I never did call the number back. On one occassion, I answered the phone which calls under a restricted number on your caller ID. They raised concerns and automatically flagged my attention to a possible telemarketer trying to bug me. Over this time period I was looking for a mortgage loan. I was refinancing my house. Multiple companies contacted me and I shut them out. But when I answered the phone this time around, the consultant identified the company as California Capital Group. It turns out, these guys were legit and provided me with some excellent information. I proceeded with them and I was quoted the very next day with numbers that beat everything else I looked at. I went ahead with the deal and my load funded just over two weeks later. In comparing the different offers, this company saved me over $18,000 on my loan. I recommend this company.

Caller identified herself as Ronda, asked for wife by first name only.  Left number 888-518-7078, extension 118, and said her loan was approved and to call her back.  Wife never applied for a loan and it sounded very suspicious.  When called the number back the machine answered "loan by phone".  Seemed like a scam or at least a cold call to an unlisted and registered "do not call" telephone.
