SCUMBAG called and hung up... no message. Identified as UNAVAILABLE.  Death to the SCUMBAGS!

This is NOT Versizon.  They say that they are and they try to get you to give you credit card information so that you can "pay your bill".  I reported them to Verizon.

This can't be Verizon Wireless because I have a phone through the company I work for and I'm pretty sure they paid the bill, plus they wouldn't be calling me for payment.

I got a call saying I have to pay a bill to Verizon...but I do not have a Verizon phone! I believe this is a SCAM!

I let it go to VM and there was no message.

I paid verizon last week and they always leave a message.  This has to be a scam.

I got a paper bill from verizon for 2 months due-yet my bank noted that they GOT their direct w/d payment last month & NOW I get a phone call for a FAKE verizon according to what I'm reading here! These scumbags must have access to people's phone records to be able to do this. I would think reporting this goes along the lines of mail & wire fraud as opposed to reporting it to verizon. I don't know about where you others live, but where I live-monkeys run the verizon offices here. The FEDS {who don't seem too much better these days} are the ones to contact....

This was a recorded message from Verizon Fios regarding the service.  The message just stated prompt attention to the matter was appreciated and to call back

Wtf? they call at early hours in the am on weekend. They woke me up. f... Them!

What do you want ?  You have not sent me a bill since December.  Why ?   I'm sure you have my address since you installed my service in October. My computer will not allow my printer to work since installation. You have sent 2 different technicians to fix it but they did not.  You never hooked up a phone line so I could use my fax machine either, Someone or somebody has dropped the ball with my account. Tell me what's going on.

I believe this is a SCAM.

Calling me about my bill on a saturday?!? Really Verizon?

It's not a scam; it really is Verizon Fios.  They handle the Verizon online accounts and are obnoxious as hell.

these people called and asked me if a wanted a [***],,i told them to go to hell !

Called my cell phone but I did not answer since I did not recognize the number. They then left a voice message about FIOS services, emphasizing ability to pay bills electronically. Nothing was mentioned about a specific bill due--it was more a general informational message. The recorded message seems like a legitimate FIOS information message, though I wonder why they are calling on a Saturday?
