What was the outcome of this? They keep calling my job with a case # and I asked them to send me something in writing and he stated they've attempted 3 times by a hand carrier ... which is a lie.

Voicemail from 216-609-0448 saying there is a complaint against me and threatening lawsuit. Tells me to call this 888 number immediately and reference a case number. I'm not calling it til I verify its not one of those scams where you get a huge charge later on your phone bill. Have received nothing in writing.

Message saying a relative is being sued and that I was listed as contact.  The number they were calling from was 478-292-7996, but wanted me to call 888-534-2662.

Revieved a call from a restricted number telling me they have been trying to deliver mail to my last known address and I need to call 888-534-2662 with a file number. That it was CMG and assoiciates. Done some background on CMG and saw that it was listed as a fraudulent collections company.

Caller (Erica Garcia) left a message assuming she had the number for a Mr. & Mrs Stanley (not our name) saying there was a complaint against us pending action and case number B8001493. I do not intend to call or answer. I screen calls the old fashioned way: don't answer unless you recognize the voice leaving a message after only 2 rings. All of my friends and associates know the drill.

Also got a call asking me to call the attorney at this 877-852-7255 number and that the matter was urgent and required my immediate attention. No doubt in my mind about this being a scam original. phone call came in as 216-609-0448.

Received the same type of call...did they stop? What did u have to do

I have instructed this number by email and vm to remove my number. I AM not the person they are looking for. They keep calling.
