Robocall telling me the IRS has filed an affidavit against me. When I called back to indicate that they are running a scam they hung up

I received a voicemail saying I must call this number back or they could be a lawsuit in a robot voice. I called this number back and they instantly answered. One ring for the "IRS" to pick up...hmmm, when does that ever happen?!?!?! I asked if this was a scam and they said no this is "IRS". OK!!! Do not give your information to them!!!

I got two phone calls from them today saying the same thing.

Phone scam from the IRS warning legal action. It was a robocall, and as we are reminded constantly, the IRS does not call.

I have been called twice by those person in one day. I know the irs would not call me. Scam. I will not call back.

Just got a call from this number. Someone claimed that i was being sued by the irs. Sounded suspicious so i asked for the persons name.. at that moment i realized the person became agitated... they then hung up..

I called them back and they were trying to have me pay them 1000 to cancel something regarding my taxes. They told me to call them back when I have the money ready. I went to the cops and they told me that is a scam.

I received two calls today but the voicemails are cut off.  I'll I hear is the person telling me to call back.  However, I doubt it is really from I.R.S.  You know if you are having issues with them and they are not just going to call and say there is legal action being taken.  They would have already reached out to you via mail.

Called twice today by this number...same deal...said it was IRS....I told them this was a scam and I want my number on do not call list!

Do they think I'm STUPID?  The IRS does not call.  They send nice legalized letters.  This is a SCAM!

Just received the same call. They left message regarding a legal action that might be taken against me if I don't call back.

This is totally a scam they called me twice today and hung up on me when I asked them  their name and to send me the information in writing.

Sorry, scammers don't have do not call lists. They don't care you don't want them to call. They assume if they call enough you'll fall for their scam. Just block and ignore the calls.

They called left a voicemail for me to call or legal charges would be put against me. I have called back but no answer.

I keep getting these calls asking me to call back  because there is a legal matter now.

I have received 2 phone calls from this number today. The IRS will not call you on the phone without giving you all information as to who is calling including agents name, ID etc. It will also come from a government phone number. This is a scam and should be reported to the local law enforcement. Do not give them any information..

Received a call and subsequent voicemail from a computerized voice telling me I need to call them back and pay up in order to avoid prosecution. Unfortunately the scammers are alive and well.
