What is the name of the company associated with 888-554-5857??????

They claim to be a travel agency named American Travel.  I called about one of their promotions but decided not to buy because they require payment through ACH debit, which seems suspicious. Also, when I asked for their customer service phone number, they refused to give it stating that I'm not a customer.  I tried searching the company name and number that I have but was unable to find anything.

I think this number 888-554-5857 is a Spam.  THey don't have a web site and they asked for checking account number to make reservations.  There is no trails about them.  Don't beleive them.  My boss said it's a SPAM.

it is a scam! well i think! they said they did not have a website so i can verify the company American Travel, that was weird. Plus, they never gave me an email or a confirmation number, i was a fool to give them my info. so now i have to close my bank account.

Just got this fax. It's probably the same scumbags from Florida doing credit card scams. Just report them to your attorney general.

They would not give their address unless I gave them money first..what a scam.

After booking a trip from this company and paid in full they suppose to send a packange. Is any one received package. if so after how many days.

I am receiving unwanted faxes from this company and can not get them removed.  How do I stop them?

Duh!!!!  You know the saying....if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!!! Common sense people...There is no way they can send someone to Hawaii for 8 days including airfare for $199.98 per person.  I've been to Jamaica many times and have NEVER stayed there for 3 nights with airfare for $149.98.  Crazy!!!!

Keep getting faxes from these people. The fax number given to be removed from their list is not in service! They identified themselves as American Travel at 888-554-5857. I called several times to be removed from the list--no luck. My next step is do a who is lookup and send them a Demand Letter demanding they cease all calls and faxes. If they don't, they can be sued for up to the small claims court jurisdictional limit.

asked for their address and they freaked out.told me he would bombard my fax machine if i call back. wonder how much money they have stolen and why these phone numbers dont have published addresses?
