- MDUBLIN| 1 replyGet called two to three times a day. i guess by what i read here they are TD bank credit collections. Well surprise to them. my bills are up to date. my son who use to live here has been behind. But his account is now paid and he has closed the account. If you can put a block on that number. it still might ring once but then you know its them again.Dont deal with the greedy inconsiderate [***]. Pay your bills back to the bank directly. cut them out of it altogether.
- lisa| 2 repliesthey keep calling
- No Holiday replies to lisa| 1 replyThey have called me five times in two hours today, the eve of independence day. I have declared independence from collection agents and agencies, and why not? With all the warnings out there about how unscrupulous collection agents only seem to rip you off and bully you, I agree with a previous posting in this "blog", and I will deal only with the institution(s) directly. I SIMPLY REFUSE TO DEAL WITH COLLECTION AGENTS AND/OR AGENCIES WHICH MISREPRESENT OR DO NOT REPRESENT THEMSELVES AS PROPER PROFESSIONAILS!!!
- No Holiday Again replies to MDUBLINGood advice. Deal only with the appropriate company (Bank Of America, Citibank, GE Money Bank, etc.) by calling the appropriate customer on the back of the card or on the statement. If they want to transfer you to collections, BEWARE ("collections" may be an unscrupulous agent or agency acting outside (or just barely inside) the law)!!!
- Do We Have To Check IDs? replies to No HolidayIf the poeple that call say they are from a bank, for example, they should not have a problem with giving us the bank's corporate headquarters telephone number, and we should be able to verify if the person calling us is a legitimate employee of said bank. Do any of them even leave messages if they encounter an answering machine or voice mail?

- Just Another Poster| 1 replyI received a call from telephone number 000-000-0000 (that was the number displayed on my caller ID). The voice message that was left was barely distinguishable. It asked me to cal 8885618862on some urgent business matter. If the company/institution name was mentioned, I could not make it out. The message said they called yesterday and I did not respond. I have been getting calls for months from 8885618862, and this is the first time ever a message was left. How did I get a 000-000-0000 display on my caller ID? I would love to call back these people and have 000-000-0000 display on their caller ID.
- Caller: Unknown
- Me Too-Just Another Poster replies to Just Another PosterI recently received a call, and the caller ID displayed 000-000-0000. Surprisingly, a message was left. It was garbled, but I think I was able to make sense of some of it. It appears that someone named Kelly REPRESENTING TD Card Services said I shoud call back at this number on a very important business matter. How did my caller ID device get to display 000-000-0000? If the so-named Kelly REPRESENTS TD Card Services, what company does he/she work for? DOES HE/SHE REALLY THINK THAT ANYONE WILL CALL BACK ANY NUMBER THAT IS LEFT IN A MESSAGE THAT WAS SENT FROM PHONE NUMBER 000-000-0000? With all the phishing schemes going around, and hearing/reading about the unscrupulous and illegal ways certain credit agencies operate, it's a wonder that not everyone is afraid to call back any number that is left in a very mysterious message
- Karen E. VendittiI receive numerous calls on a daily basis from this phone #. As soon as I answer the phone, the caller, or if it an auto - robo-call, it disconnects.
