Just came home to a message on my machine. They are a legal support service. I am to call back. They gave me a case number. They said if I do not call back in 24 hours they will deem my address and employment as verified. They are trying to send me a summons. This is obviously a scam. I saw this same thing happening and reported on this site in 2011. Guess they are making rounds again. I'll probably call back soon, just to egg them on and see what they are trying to get from me.

Exactly same as above. Claimed to be Legal Support Services. Sending me a "summons to appear." Garbage.

Same bogus message about a summons from "unknown" on caller idea...woman's voice with threatening tone. From "legal support services" about a summons to appear.  Gave this number.. call back in 24 hours or else... yada yada,,, Scam all the way!

Just received a voicemail on my unpublished home phone from some female fool with a "talking down: voice. She claims that if I do not call back within 24 hours from this legal support service my address and income will be verified as what I reported! What a crock of sh&t! My case number was 37-000-93....just wondering if others have the same case number! Going to call this loser back and tell her to get a REAL job and stop harassing people! How pathetic are these people?  .

Received called from scammers. They are sooo stupid.

They called my sons home phone about his son. Gave a case number of 37-00091. Seems awfully close to the one they gave you.

ID themselves as CFG or something like that.  Absolutely will not give me any other information.  So far as I'm aware,  there is no entity known as : " Legal Support Services".

No one is going to serve you with anything from this group.   No legitimate process server notifies you in advance that he or she is coming by.

Someone from that same number called my work and said they were going to serve me a summons and I needed to call them back so I wasn't humilated at work. When I called back they said corporate office please hold

I figured I would do the same. How low down to call my work and give out information to other people, should call the authorities on them

Just called the number back they gave me and also gave them the the supposed case number and it pulled up under someone else name. Then i told them they shouldn't be calling anyone at there place of work anyways and the lady preceeded to yell at me and said well you can just been embarrassed at work when they serve you papers and hung up on me....WOW what a scam

I got a call, they were looking for my father, I lied and said I was him to see what he owed and if my name was on the credit card.  It wasn't.  I egged them on to see what they would say, I was transferred to the "manager" and they said I (my father) would be taken to court if I didn't pay now.  I called them back again and got the manager again, I said I lied that I was my father and he began yelling liar, liar, get off my phone you liar.  Then someone said in the background "we can sue him for lying".  I don't think they can.

I just got the same call.  Not even going to bother to call back.  CWG40 is right, if you are going to be served with a summons, the person serving it will not give you a "heads up".  The part about contacting/verifying your employer is definitely being used as a scare tactic, and they want to cause you to panic.  Don't call them back, report the call and then block the number, if possible.

Got a call from them yesterday at my job!!!   If I can I will sue them for harassment.  Companies are not to call anyone at their place of employment.  Gave me some case number for something that they never explained.

Your thieves are most likely based out of India or Pakistan.  It's highly doubtful, that you can sue them.  You will not be sued by these extortionists.

A real legit debt collector is allowed to call your employer only once.    And that is to verify your employment only and nothing else.  They can not even mention your debt (if it existed). These sewer rats calling you are foreign thieving scammers.

I just got the same scam call. I was able to get the guy to tell me his name. Thacket Bryant obviously a fictional name. I want to report the scam, but to who do I sent the report?
