The caller is United Recovery System - a collection agency.

No, I do NOT know the person on your collection list.

They research people's former addresses since they can't locate them any other way and see if their former neighbors know of their whereabouts.  They don't identify themselves as a debt recovery firm "Not at liberty to say that."  Don't tell you how they researched your name -- just you are "on a list of friends and family."

A caller by the name of Nikki Frazier identified herself as being from United Recovery System, a debt collection agency.  She stated that I was listed as a relative of two individuals that I have never even heard of.  When I informed her of this, and my concern that someone was using my name for credit references, she said I shouldn't worry.  I don't have my first name listed on directory assistance, and she had my maiden and married full names.  I advised her that I would be calling the police to report potential fraudulent activity.

After 6 calls from this number on my caller ID I call them to find out why they were calling my number.  After being passed around to 5 different people, the 5th one hung up on me. But no one could or would tell me why they were calling my house. I am on the no call list and have been since it came out.  If anyone knows how to keep this company and other like them from calling please let the rest of use know.

They called here several times and I finally answered.  They asked for a person I do not know.  They asked if this was the phone number for my husband's name.  I said yes.  Then they asked if I knew either of these two people.  Who are these people?

I TOLD THEM MORE THAN FIVE TIMES I HAD NEVER HEARD OF SUCH PEOPLE AND THEY STILL WANTED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!!

Calls are made during the day while we are at work.  Therefore our voicemail picks up and its just the noise you hear in the background on their end.  
I called back today and the rep could not find my name or phone number.  She claims it could be a miss dial.  I told her to put us on the do not call list.  I get tired of calls like this.  I believe they may be looking for the previous homeowner but since my name & phone number do not register when they search for it they are unable to tell me anything.

got several calls from this # yesterday.. a man asked me if I was still receiving mail at a certain address, where I have never lived. He asked me if my name was laura, which it is but the last name was different. He called back a few times but all I could hear is noise in the background- no speaking. Just received another call on my cell and a message of just noise.

Caller asked for someone else and became verbally abusive when asked to identify themselves.  I googled the number and found this site.
