A call from Eddie saying that it was an "online entry" ... at some time ... to call him back at the number given.  We are on the state and national DO NOT CALL list so they will be reported.  Same SCAM others are reporting.

A call from "Jonathon Alperts" at the Cool Car Cool Cash awards center, a contest they claim I entered a year to a year and a half ago. A SCAM.

Received a call from "Eddie" at Cool Car Cool Cash Giveaway, a contest we supposedly entered.  We are on the DO NOT CALL list.  Totally a Scam.

Was contacted Jan. 16, 2007 by someone name Eddie who claimed I had entered a contest 1 to 1 1/2 years ago called "Cool Car, Cold Cash."  I don't ever recall entering such a contest.  I returned the phone call and got a voice message about reaching their awards claim department.  I will not pursue this any further as it appears to be a scam.

Not a scam. I did fill out one of those prize gice aways usually seen on a counter somewhere, mine was at the mall. the only scam is that I have to sit through a 2 hour sales pitch for a time share to claim my 32" flatscreen. the ohter 3 possible prizes are $2500, trip for 2 to the bahamas and a caddilac escilade. I'm sure I'll win the t.v..

Got a call tonight from this number 888-606-8369.  Caller called herself Charisma.  Contest is supposedly for Cool Cars Cold Cash, a contest I never entered.

Seems like a reputable firm would back it up with a snailmail or at least an email.

I received a call from Charisma today.  We left a message supposed on her voicemail.  Did you ever hear anything back from her?

Eddie and Charisma have both called our house. They asked for my husband twice and for me once. Regarding the "Hot Cars Cool Cash" giveaway. Neither of us EVER fill out those contest things, but they said that is 'likely' how we were entered. Said we have won either a Lincoln Nav. or $50k cash, a 4 day Bahama cruise, $2500, or a 32" TV. When I decided to take the bait, they said BOTH my husband and I had to claim the prize at Westgate Resorts in Gatlinburg. I called Westgate and a very rude lady hung up on my when I asked if the contest was legit. I called Eddie back and asked they never call again.

I received the same call from "Eddie" just now.  My answerign machien took it as I no longer pick up teh phone unless I know the caller.  

This is fraud, pure and simple, why is this sleazy outfit still in business?

I just got a call from a private name and number. Asked for my dad and was pretty shady about it. I looked up the number he gave me on google and it is the same 1-888-606-8369. The guy said his name was "Eddie". I took the message for my dad. A few minutes later the same private name and number called and when I answered they hung up. Pisses me off becasue i'm trying to get some homework done. Sounds like they are trying to scam my dad.

We got a call as well from Eddie..saying that we had entered a cool car/cold cash giveaway 1year-1 1/2 years ago....total SCAM...

Got a call today regarding, Cool car cold cash....from Eddie. Can't *69 to identify. Got his voicemail....await return call.Private # on my caller ID.

Got the call today from "Eddie".  I will call back and update what happens!

Wasn't home but Eddie left a message to call him back.
Called him and he said he was in a meeting and would call me right after.
Probably on the line with some other victim.
At least he leaves a message.

So glad this website exists not that we are so dumb to believe Eddie but it helped a lot to clear the clouds that we still had on our not so clear sky :)

Same thing like everybody else: Eddie calls with a private caller number, leaves a message with the cool car, cash giveway gimmick and says that he will be there only until 9pm. When he called was 8.30pm.  So go figure you have only 30 minutes to get back with him. What if you have dinner and dont have time to call back? Oh, my God you lose the deal!!!!

Got the call from Eddie and he told me I won but when he said that both my wife and I had to be there and no kids were allowed I asked why and he said that last time they had some kids there they broke the windshield. I said goodbye.

Got another call from Eddie. Number he called from was 623-418-4801, comes up as cell phone on whitepages.com and I was told to call 888-282-4116.

I was contacted twice September 20th by a person named Eddie, stating that I had entered a "Cool Car, Cold Cash" contest a year to a year and a half ago.  He left two identical messages on my recorder stating that I needed to call him back at 1-888-282-4116.  I smelled scam all over this because I do not enter contests.
