A man called me stating his name as Matt White saying he was with OSHA.  He proceeded to tell me about new OSHA regulations requiring buisnesses to buy their paper work. I own a buisness and I'm fully aware of all rules and regulations of operating my buisness under state and federal law.  This is a scam!!! OSHA is a non profit organization regarding saftey.  Report immediately to your local attorney general if you receive this call.

Just got a message 'Matt White'.  He said; "I was told to call you about your safety documents regarding OSHA compliance. You need to call me at my direct line at to discuss this ......."

BULL-TURD SCAM.

Just got a message from Nick Fires saying it was very important that I call him about our State & Federal requirements (whatever that means). Did not say where he was calling from.  Definitely sounds like a SCAM!!

"Yeah, the name is Kirk Thomas, I was told to contact you about your state and federal safety requirements.  I need you to gimme a call back on my direct line.  Phone number is 888-618-5685.  Thank you."

Caller ID showed up as 213-674-8870.

Yeah right, dude.

I just got a call from Levi Smith who said he needed to send me an updated Labor Law poster and that they needed a supervisor to authorize payment...  The caller ID displayed "Cold Spring, NY".  I told him that the supervisor wasn't in to which he gave me the 1-888-618-5685 number.

Please recognize the scam, and avoid it.

same exact message except for name changed to Mike Adams

Same message - guy's name was Frank Taylor - He "was told to call me about my State and Federal requirements", and he said that I "NEED TO CONTACT HIM IMMEDIATELY" on his direct line at 888-618-5685.

The caller ID said "New YorK", and the phone number listed was 347-767-3140.

Same as others that have received this call just different name...this is a great site THANK YOU!!!

Same thing...except it was Mike Adams. Caller ID from New Hampshire.

Caller ID said 520-254-0301 his name was "Alex". Same thing, labor law posters being out dated and they would send new ones. Once they got the address of the business, they asked for payment. Was told to call back at 888-618-5685. Different person answered (says they are based out of tempe,AZ) and was quoted different amount. scam scam scam!

Scam message about compliance with state/federal labor laws (I have a defunct corporation of record in Colorado).

OSHA scam, "Matt White" called implying he works for OSHA, and insists you call him back. When you call back, he has always "stepped into a meeting", and then they try to sell you OSHA compliance material and training. Posing as a government agent to raise the fear level and get call-backs, disgraceful.

A guy by the name of Levi Smith called me today. He left a message saying he was asked to contact me about my state and federal requirements. He left the number 888-618-5685. Sounds like a scam to me. I could hear other telemarketers in the background of the message... He did not say what company or persons he was working for....I did NOT return the call.

RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM A "FRANK TAYLOR" TO CALL HIM BACK IMMEDIATELY AT 888-618-685..something about "STATE AND FED INFORMATION".......i new it was a scam just by his message,plus 888 is not a state or fed number , not sure what there trying to get from people? obviously a scam

Same deal - Levi Smith was told to call me about my Federal and State compliance, please call back immediately, which I won't!

I received  a call by matt white he left same message call back and talk yo Preston clark he was abel to explain me OSHA requirements for my business I did my search online and they are a legit business. did not have a problem with them

Caller ID reported number as 630-967-4165 and name 'Unknown'

Claimed some association with federal and state health and safety laws..  claimed name was Patrick James and I needed to call him back immediately at 888-618-5685 tried hard to make this sound very important and urgent  searching that number reveals a scam.

Own my business in Lakeside, CA.  Got a call from 619-942-5146 which shows as a Chula Vista, CA number and he says his name is Lonnie, and that he was told to call our business about state laws and regulations, says to call him on his direct line at 888-618-5685.  [***].  I did not return the call.
