they called me

IT'S A CALL FOR AN AUTO INSURANCE QUOTE

THEY CLAIMED IT WAS "JESSE" FROM BANK RATE INSURANCE CALLING ABOUT MY QUOTE REQUEST. I NEVER REQUESTED ANYTHING. TOLD THEM DON'T CALL AGAIN.

They called yesterday and left a message saying, "Oh, sorry, I'm calling from State Farm and was trying to get a hold of (someone else). I'll delete this number."

But then, they called twice today.

From the other reports here, I'm guessing it's not State Farm.

I should also mention the communication from them was left in my voice mail. I didn't get to actually talk to them. But now I know they're telling different people they're different agencies, I def won't pick up the phone when they call. Probably a scam.

This outfit calls repeatedly.  From previous posts they are an "insurance company."  However they never identify themselves on my number.

I got a call from this number, and they left a voicemail with heavy breathing and a weird male voice said "Come on," followed by something unintelligible. Creepy.

She called me twice and I believe from 2 differant numbers. I was always buisy and both times she said a differant company but I recognised the voice. When I asked for a number to call back she hung up. So what does that say!

Just got a call from this number looking for a "Jimmy", had no other information to give me so that I could determine why they were calling or if it was legit or not.  Also had 2 calls early today from 800 828-5179 saying they were calling about my auto insurance quote (which I did not request).  Must be related.

I effed up. I checked out a compare insurance .org site from our local news, for less car insurance, and put my phone # in. (Should of used my dad's now defunct phone #)  I checked out 2 sites, and BEFORE I was out of the site, the phone rang. The first 2 days it was relentless to the point I shut off my recorder and muted my phones. I even left my line open while gone for 2 hours and 45 minutes. It IS insurance companies.

I had 3 calls from the two above mentioned numbers...all within 15 minutes one gal left voice mail, one guy said my wife had asked for a quote (even had her name correct) . I despise these type of calls...have not checked out any insurance quotes for at least a year.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number. When I picked up no one said anything. I told them this was  a cell phone and they were not allowed to call cell phones. I told them I would report them.

I got a call from (888) 632-9528 && (401) 270-3042, the first one didn't leave a vm but the 401 called a few times leaving me vm about an all state insurance quote I made.....I've never gotten an insurance quote. I got insurance

They keep changing numbers. Had all of my information of where I lived, my e-mail address and telephone numbers. When you call the number back there is a message that the number is not in service. Finally spoke with a guy that sounded Indian from India and he wanted to know if I was the person and talked about  an insurance quote that I did not request. Said that the quote would be sent to my e-mail which I never received because I changed my pass-word. I believe this is a scam and it needs to be reported to someone I just don't know who?

I did an Online request for an Insurance Quote.  I THOUGHT I was going to get a quote on line.
Almost IMMEDIATELY I received a call from an Insurance Co.  I stopped them and told them
I DID NOT WANT ANY PHONE CALLS.  Even though I had put my phone number in the field.

I Did receive an email quote from that insurance co. an hour later.  
THEN, I start getting calls from the number reported here.  I don't answer,but from the looks
of these posts, it is Insurance Cos. etc.

Geezzzz!  I should not have put my number in the Quote Request form.  I KNOW BETTER!!!! DUH!!

Called and asked for Earl. I am not Earl. They said they would remove my number.
