want to know who is calling me

they call 4 times an hour saying theyre citibank

They are calling me several times a day starting at 8:00 am. No one is there when I answer, I have started saying into the phone to "stop calling here". Does anyone have any idea who this is.

Yup, calling a cell number is uncool...thick Pakistani accent when they did talk on one occassion.

Calls me NON stop.. says they are 'citibank' on the v/m but it's not.

this number calls me 5-6 times per day.  i never answer it.  the voice mail they leave they
say they are citi bank.  i am paying off my citicard so i have no idea what they want or
who they truly are. i answered the call today, and they sat there without saying a word,
then hung up.  Who knows what type of scam this is actually.

It is citibank. They call when your credit card accounts have past due payments.

I have received 3 calls already today 8:30, 10:30 and 12:52.  They have to obide by the law and i was told regardless who they are the 8:30 call is a violation.  I just put my phone on mute and let them keep calling.  I know I am in trouble but they started this when I was making payments fine and they so called reviewed my 13 year old account and decided to hike my rate with out justification.  I was never late for 10 years and now with the rate hike am in default.  I tried working with Citi and on the on last arrangement i had was that i would be able to change the date my payment was due as long as i paid within the month.  Well needed to change it one month and wouldn't you know their comment oh no you can't do it.  So America step up to the plate and fight back against this corrupt business and bring down Citi together.  We own them anyway as they did not pay back CRAP.

The remaining time on my account was me fighting with them in other arrangements.  They kick you out to their benefit.  I am waiting for my court notice and the come after me as I am more than likely going to lose my job soon any way.

They took our money. Paid out big to their execs. Left us in the dirt. I have over 100k in medical bills for my wife, they do not care, they charge the highest rates they can and do not try to help. Bring them down. If everyone in the U.S. refused to pay their Citibank payment for one month that would give them a taste of how they treat their clients.

Your exactly right!! I hate this number soooo much....they call me like 15 times a day...unbelievable..I will hang up 15 time too...take that citibank...

It's Citibank, and in my case it is a quasi-legitimate collections call.  I say quasi b/c I, like many other posters here, am the victim of their predatory lending tactics.  Fortunately, I have documentation that proves they engaged in unfair and deceptive practices.  Also fortunately, my Android phone allows me to route specific callers to voicemail.  Every once in a while they change the number they call from, and my phone rings....like today.   My policy of never answering a call from a number I don't know means I never talk to them.  I am up to 9 "CitiSpam" numbers at this point.

Someone else should pay for my debts, this is BS!! THey have no right to expect me to pay when I have no way of paying. Share the wealth rich people who earned their money the honest way, you should be paying my bills!

Regardless they call my phone at least 20 times a day from different numbers including this one.

It's Citi Bank credit cards department. It is legit. I forgot to send in my payment so I sent it in yesterday so hopefully they get my check soon because THEY ARE SO ANNOYING! I have never been late before but they just keep on calling. You would think once per day would be enough, but they call like 4-6 times per day! I never answer because I know it's them, but jeez! Enough already!
Just check your accounts and call the number on the back of your card.

Citi Collections, refuses to identify who they are when calling.... Demand they state who they are or hang up on them...

They can kiss my ass, they are not getting another dime out of me. Go ahead take me to court, I will sue then for the entire balance for harrassment.  Citibank you can kiss my ass.

I will NOT put up with this harrassment, when I have a letter from the VP of Citibank stating that I am on a DO NOT call list.

don't give a [***] who they are, the harrassment WILL stop immediately. I demand the name and address of this call center so I can file a lawsuit against them.

Can a debt collector contact me any time or any place?
No. A debt collector may not contact you at inconvenient times or places, such as before 8 in the morning or after 9 at night, unless you agree to it. And collectors may not contact you at work if they’re told (orally or in writing) that you’re not allowed to get calls there.
