Left message regarding a claim, asked me to call back on 866-606-2033. Left a claim number.  Called the 888 number above, answered as National Recovery Service which when Googled comes up "National Recovery Services is a national debt collection firm specializing in the collection of delinquent payday loans".  They will call night and day, odd hours, etc.  Border on breaking the law, turnover of reps must be terrific, as we get a new voice quite often.  I wouldn't want the job, that's for sure

1 888 645-0012, Michelle Kansas City calling my parents house says I have her  their number to call.  Not true, I have never given out my parents number to anyone.  She says to have me call her back.  Says she is with NRS.  If it's national recover service, I have never used a loan.  Makes no sense at all.

it maybe a different department?  sounds like collection agency, you could be just a reference number or something.  I had to give my phone number that they called me at and they found it was wrong number it never called once I gave that info.

They called my cell phone at 2:30 AM. And was looking for a John and said there is no John at this number. They told me that I was lying and I said this my cell and told them not to call me again. I was pissed.

I agree, the National Recovery Service calls my house all the time looking for someone. Claim to be collecting on a Capital One Credit Card.  Catch is I have told them wrong number and they want to know how to get in touch with that person. I tell them I don't know they have the wrong number since I have NEVER had a Captial One Credit Card.  This was two weeks ago and they are still calling.

I have registered on the Do Not Call List. just wish it would kick in and works.

Got a call from this number, I didn't answer...they left a message though. Message says "This is Michael, I think there is something you may not be aware of that is a very serious matter and directly affects you. Please give me a call so that I can fill you in." I am certain it is a debt collector of some kind...thus feeling quite aware of the circumstances, I didn't bother calling back. They seem to get more and more ingenious with their tactics. They have called and threatened me in the past. They reached me a month ago and I begin the process of stetting up a payment plan when the woman asked me why I hadn't paid. I told her I lost my job but that I would pay when I got my first paycheck...what more can I do really. That didn't suffice her and she started threatening and badgering me wanting to know why and how I lost my job and calling me a liar and then said, she has the right to prosecute or authorize a settlement. I again told her when I got my first paycheck, which was the following week, and that I would resume payments then but she got even nastier. I hung up and have since decided it will be a cold day in hell before they get money out of me after those tactics.

I have received 10 phone calls in July, 2010 and already 7 in August. 2010. A woman named Jada is looking for some one who does NOT reside at my house.  She was told this and still refuses to quit calling.  Oh, they change the number sometimes to 800 / 866 and 888.   I seriously am thinking of suing them for harrassment. An attorney told me to tell her to quit calling my number or I would sue.
    Didn't help, she still calls

This number is a debt collector and keeps calling my cell phone asking for Maria. She must have had my cell number before I got it.  They fill up my voice mail, calling about 6-8 times per day.  I have told them repeatedly that I do not know any Maria and to quit calling me.  I finally blocked the number today.

I received a call from these people this morning. The last name of the person they were looking for matches a family 3 doors down. They can't get her to respond so they are fishing for a neighbor that will deliver a message.

Get this number quite often, and a very generic message. "Something important crossed my desk;" "I need to talk with you it is urgent;" "Please call when you get this message..." Beginning of the message is frayed so badly I couldn't hear who she wanted. I'll pay what I owe, when I can, to the people I owe it to. The last woman had a very nice voice, at least. ;) Answering machines: best invention sense coffee.
