    Scam number!  Claiming to be the IRS under different simple names "Rod Miller."  They had my full name and the last four of my social.  They will try to scare you into paying money by saying you will be arrested.  Please BE AWARE!  The number shows up as an actual IRS # (I don't know how they did it) but the number shows up as 1-800-829-1040.  A strong Indian accent. I confirmed this was a scam with the FTC.

    I just recieved a call from a Kevin Kany claiming to be the IRS - he had a strong INDIAN ACCENT. Claiming that I owe $20,000 in back taxes between 2005 - 2012 and I can settle the claim for $2908.30 or pay over $47,000 to get a lawyer and fight it. This is a total SCAM! They had my full name and the last four of my social.  Please BE AWARE!  The number shows up as 1-888-650-4784.

    Wife received a call from someone claiming to be with the IRS (strong Indian accent). Had her social, and more info, said that she was going to be arrested. He also said that she could pay the missing amount $2708.44 but if she payed $1354 her "case" wont go to federal court.
