I answer the phone then click. They call and call, this is so annoying.

This caller calls 5 times day at my work number and hangs up!  Very annoying!

It is AT&T Business Solutions- Providing solutions for your businesses voice and data.

I doubt seriously this call is really from AT&T. A "private number" has been calling at least 5 times a day, including nights and weekends. I don't answer unless I recognize the number, as I get so many annoying telemarketer/spam calls. So today finally instead of just hanging up, the "private number" left a recorded message stating that they were from AT&T Advertising Solutions and that my account was being turned over to a representative and that I needed to call the 888-656-8872 number back to take care of the "matter" otherwise my account would be affected. Huh? Nothing is up for renewal at this time and my bill always is paid promptly. There IS no "matter". Further, all of the AT&T advertising and other service related numbers are "800" numbers, NOT "888" numbers. And the ad solutions arm of AT&T now is called "YP Advertising Solutions". Hence, I don't buy it for a minute. I think they are scammers. And if they are not, I'll soon be switching from AT&T, as this isn't the proper way to conduct business. I challenge anyone out there to prove me wrong.

Ditto Thank you ~ I too think it is a scam for the same reasons you gave! Same message came on my phone 888-656-8872 (scam) ~ This is VERY BAD business to leave such a message! This should be illegal!

This is the number (888-656-8872) the automated message wants us to call back.  The number on the caller ID is 404-382-7288.  It used to be a different number but they have switched to this Georgia one. SCAMMERS!  They are NOT AT&T.  This has been going on for months! They call several times a day, including on the weekends.  This message says they are the AT&T Renewal and Migration department. It used to say AT&T Business Solutions.  The voice message refers to AT&T DSL which we don't even have.  We do have two AT&T business lines but that's it.  They are morons and I have filed a complaint with the FCC.  I don't think they can catch them.  I am so sick of them.
