After I found out who they were, I asked him not to call again.  He stated they would take my number off their call list.  We'll see.

Many calls from this number but no person is on the line when I pickup.  Called 888-657-3998 and the company's name is Matrix Medical Network, they claim they were calling in behalf of Humana health insurance.
Told them to stop calling and they said they would,  will wait and see.

Keep getting calls from this company (1-888-657-3998). They are always at inconvient times and I'm tired of it. What ever happened to the No-Call list? I'm on it and have no affiliation with Matrix Medical.
Why doesn't the FTC put an injunction on this company?? Look at all the complaints.

Calling on behalf of Windsor Health Plan. Trying to get into our home to "analyze" us. NO, a thousand times, NO. Could this be the start of Obama harassing the elderly to death so he can get them off the medicare rolls to make room for people who have never paid into it?

    Advantage
They are in fact a contractor of Humana and possibly other insurance companies who offer Medicare Advantage insurance.  They want to send someone into the policy holder's home or nursing facility to conduct a medical assessment, including a "non-invasive examination."  The Matrix website states that this is to allow one's physician and the insurance company to provide better services and information.  I found a speech made by a Matrix executive to an insurance industry meeting in which the real objective is stated, which is to gather up more Medicare diagnostic codes for the insurance company because, Matrix says, doctors are not diagnosing or reporting everything, so the insurance company reimbursement from Medicare is not as high as it could be.  The Matrix speaker told the insurance industry attendees that they are "leaving money on the table" because doctors are not reporting all of the Medicare diagnostic codes.   If you do want to try to reach a biological entity who might listen to your request to stop calling (the assessments are supposed to be voluntary) the number to call to schedule an assessment is  866-968-8919 and one can expect someone to answer. http://matrixforme.com/  Matrix is located in Scottsdale, AZ.
    Just FYI.

It is true that the company, Matrix, represents both the health insurance plan and us (its members).  I was skeptical at first when I received the call to schedule an in-home assessment by a Nurse Practitioner.  I asked my friends in the neighborhood and even my doctor.  My doctor encouraged me to keep the appointment, as well as my neighbors.  The Nurse Practitioner was upfront and shared what the purpose of the visit was for.  I agree, today healthcare IS changing.  We are living longer and as a result have more wrong with us.  Our physicians only have 15 minutes to take care of all our medical problems, which leaves a lot unattended to.  I felt that the assessment was detailed, thorough, and really took into account my lifestyle.  The Nurse Practitioner really tried to make my medical plan fit my lifestyle, instead of my life fit into my medical issues.  As a result, some recommendations were made to and supported by my doctor that has made a dramatic improvement in my diabetes.  My neighbors as well experienced positive results.  One neighbor had a lot of medications she didn't even know what they were for.  As a result of the assessment, she now knows why she takes the medications and suggestions for changes to some medications were made to her doctor.  It turns out that the medications she was on for blood pressure were causing her to be dizzy and fall often.  She is much better now.  That evaluation took about an hour to find the problem and her doctor surely doesn't have that much time.  At the minimum, if you do not have a lot of health issues, then it is a great opportunity to ensure you have a good plan and to ask health questions you do not have time to ask your doctor about.  Although I was very skeptical at first, I truly feel this is a very valuable program and would encourage people to participate in it. My doctor even thought so.

Very concerned for us Senior Citizens. replies to Satisfied Customer
It is true that Matrix home nurse practitioners (if they really are) will not provide a Business Card or any kind of ID.  Anyone can put on a Lab Coat and stick a name tag on it.  They also use no hand sanitizor prior to touching patient and, who knows where all they have been and how many others persons they have been in contact with?  All the questions they ask have already been answered to Humana by patient.  What does Matrix need this for and if they actually work with or for Humana, why wouldn't they already have this info from Humana?    Homeowners are divulging very private and personal information to an unknown individual who has absolutely no credible identification as to who they are or what reasons they could possibly have for entering Senior Citizen's homes.  Why would they need to bother Humana Insurance Members in the privacy of their homes when Humana already has all this information?

Aetna gave them name and number. Got repeated calls on landline and told them no. Changed my number on  Aetna site to mobile phone. Calls went to voice mail which I could delete. I had to send a nasty letter to Aetna to get them to stop calling. They do no take no for an answer.
