Received message for a Kathleen Jones from Nicole Smith at ext. 264. A woman called Sharon answered, and I told her that there is no Kathleen Jones at my number. She took the number and said that she would remove it from their data. Jan. 7, 2013

Received call from CRG, claiming to be an attorney and debt collection outfit. The speaker, first a Mr. Dan Jasper, then a Mr. Jenkins claimed to be looking for me by name, spelled wrong. Then they asked for a confirmation on the phone number I received the message upon. They also wanted to confirm my SSN number or the last four of it.

The speakers spoke with an African-Americans' voice inflection/intonation.

Definitely phishing scammers, probably cross-referencing Facebook 'Friend' lists.

SCAM!!!!  A relative received a call from a “Paul Mark” extension 275,  I called him back and asked the reason for the call;  we claim to have a process against me from a debt and that his client was pursuit this in court. When his story didn't add up with any of the accounts that I currently hold or had in the past,  I knew that he was making up stories as he was talking..I asked him to verify the authenticity of his business and to provide me with case number, court case etc. as I was going to confirm that his claim was well grounded. Immediately he became argumentative and evasive and hanged up without giving the name of the company. I called again and women named Sharon answer the phone, I asked her to provide me with information of her company and asked her to spell the name for me as slurring fast the name. When I insisted in the name of the company, she got nervous and asked me not to call back.

I think they got my information from social medias, or maybe business online profiles.

I've received quite a few phone calls from this company. From a Paul Marks, saying on my voice mail, (I haven't answered any of the calls yet) that I have some SERIOUS CHARGES filed in his office. When I did try to call back, no one answered. Well now that I have read these reviews, boy will I have a good one to lead them on. HaHa LOLOL

He called my work and he was helping me with a "fraud claim" with the social security office. He was very rude and antagonistic when I told him we cannot except personal calls at work and hung up on me. He sound like he was wacked out on drugs and was "grunting?"

It's this simple: It's a scam, they've got nothing.  Ignore and hang up.  Their collection tactics are very illegal as well.  Fly by night sham crew, no more.

Funny they called me, today. And when the guy said there would be a warrant out for my arrest, I knew it was a SCAM!! I recevied the same phone call from Paul Mark, saying that charge have filed against me in his office...I call him back from my home phone n it say that this party does not accept a blocked number..If it is a legit business, it shouldn't matter if my number is blocked r not...Now I know it's a SCAM for real.

My mother receives a message on her phone from Paul Marks for my ex-boyfriend. We used to live with her temporarily when our son was born. It said that Warren county, where I live now, has a serious complaint against him with a case number. I looked on Case.net to see if it was in there. the amount of letters and numbers he gave didn't look like the rest of the cases my ex has or had against him. The guy is getting somewhat personal information about who he is calling. He knows where my ex lived by town and phone number. I'm glad I googled Paul Marks name and number. Thanks for posting these comments!! What an idiot!! Just another way to try and swindle money out of somebody. And with a criminal career like my ex has, it wouldn't be a shock to receive a phone call like that. he may have fallen for it!!

Today it was "John Pierce" who called me, the other day it was Jonathan Pierce. Hmm.. Very interesting that he has now called me TWICE in one week!! The 1st call he was going to have me "arrested" if I did not call back right away, today it was "I want to touch base with you"... WHAT?! Which is it ya fool?! lmao! It HAS to be a scam!! I have had calls from a company like this before & it turned out to be a debt collector that took over a bill I had, which is funny, cuz they could not even find me in the system!! Do NOT fall for this crap people! And if someone was going to arrest you, you would not get a warning call! lol.. Idiots.

These jokers called and left me a message saying they're from the State Federal Mandate of Records and this and it was a legal notice of intent.  But, I clearly state my name on my outgoing message and they were trying to reach someone I've never heard of. Oh, and if I didn't get back to them immediate action would  take place. What action?!?

I am an attorney pursuing CRG (Credit Recovery Group), learned very quicky thay the name I had to use for this lawsuit was PnL Agency L.L.C. the reason the owner uses 3 names and does not provide physical address is to prevent anyone from locating him for lawsuits or F.T.C. shutting them down. For everyone's info these are valid debts, the ammounts are very wrong, we learned that the owner applies any figure that he feels necessary to make him more money generally the figure we notice applied to many of these purchased debt os approximately $750.00-$850.00 keep in mind this is completely illegal. well i found new info about the thieves they used to call CRG... Credit recovery group... they have changed the name of their business to Stephen LLoyd Group, and the number listed above is the new number that they are utilizing.... at any rate this company severely breaks every law there is from the FDCPA, they will contact you at 1st from a blocked number from one of the staff here saying that they have documents to deliver to you, and a notice to appear in court that you need to be served with, which is completely false, there is no way shape or form this company can serve you with a notice to appear and more than likely aren't even within 1,000 miles from you, as they are calling from Mesa, AZ they don't have the legal right to say this to you and if you can get this on recording especially many times you can get a fat check from a civil lawsuit against these Criminal Debt Collectors, so after they call you to threaten you with a summons they will give you a # to call to get what they call a "release order" meaning that these "private locators" this is what the staff that is calling to allegedly serve you call themselves, so they give you a # to call the firm that's handeling your file, here is the funny part to this, after they yell "YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN NOTIFIED" (what does that even mean) and than slam the phone down, of course being nervous about such an aggressive call about a supoena your going to call the "firm" handeling your file, when you call the person that answers the phone is more than likely the exact same person that is allegedly delivering documents to you just with a slight change to their voice.. they will than continue to tell you that you are being pursued for "breach and fraud in the inducement of a contract" (every single word of both of these pitches are so illegal it's not even funny, and will get you a huge civil lawsuit right there alone, and this is their standard procedure so this is guaranteed what your going to get) just make sure to record every single call with these people, cause as you know the proof is in the pudding, at any rate the following info is what you will need when filing your civil suit to get a pay day from them breaking an unbelievable amount of laws stated in the FDCPA.
