the number keeps calling our business and disconnects when we answer. Then continues to call back and hang up

Did you ever find anything out about this? I have the same problem. They speak Spanish, keep asking for "ricardo" and get belligerent when I tell them I'm not the guy they're looking for.

I have receiving calls from Bruce , general manager of yellow page. They say that the business is out of the yellow pages and somebody is going to ask me some questions. Be careful, they are scamss!!!! they want to get money from you...

When I signed up for the Yellow Pages for the PR phone book, I was warned that there was a company based in the US which calls saying they need to verify my information and when I do they would then have my billing info and address and bill me for services. I have received at least 15 calls in ten months all asking me to verify my account information. I always tell them off. They will tell you they are based in your local area but it is a scam, so refuse to give them any info. I told her I knew it was a scam and asked her not to call again, but they will...Watch out.

When I advertised in the Yellow Pages, I receive more scam calls than actual costumer calls in response to the ad.

My company recieved numerous bills for $299 to pay for services in this internet page. When I called and confronted a lady called Yanis Garcia, she said our manager had authorized it. I said he had no right to authorize this, and I would not pay. She was a little understanding and said she would cancel invoice to call later for cancelation number and to hear the recording. When I called back she did give me a cancelation confirmation number, but she said not to have the recording yet, she would call later. And of course she didn´t...this call is a SCAM.

I just received a call from this number. A Spanish speaking woman ask if I speak spanish or if there was someone she could speak with. I responded "no". She said thank you and hung up.
Glad I looked it up, I hate scammers.

Scam!!! Do not give any info!!!!!!

I got a phone call just a few minutes ago from these scammers, yes they speak spanish, no they don,t give up, yes they change their numbers and no they don,t change their tactics. It is far more likely we never end up on their blacklist, but think of it this way, when do you get often a chance to spew at someone who,s only purpose is to rob you of your hard earned dollars. It,s not as bad as you think, eh! Alas, the home of the free and the home of the brave, and don,t you forget it.

Got a call asking for information concerning my phone account. Since I'm spanish speaking I notice quickly the dominican accent wich they use most for scams. Beware always for giving any kind of info to a company that U never requested info from.

Just received a call from this  number   woman name  Carla   said she was  form the   puerto rico   online yellow  pages to verify  my info  for the 2010  pages  just  told her  this has  been cancelled   and she hung  up.   Get this same  call  at least  three  or  four  time  every couple of  months  usually  from different  number or  from some that can not be  identified.  

Another  Scam is calling to verify your bank information  for bank security and insurance  department they call  with  bank  info usually  bank  info.  that is  old and outdated  or  from closed  account don't  get  fool into  giving  the the new  info  it is  also a  scam.

Got a phone call from a spanish speaking man who asked for the owner of the company, especifically owners of the company usually have no idea what the business is doing unless they have a board meeting, watch out it,s a scam. Arrogant people don,t have a real job instead they steal. Hang up when you can.

Got a phone call requesting a payment due from 1/30/2009. I rejected to pay and the lady at phone told me she had a recorded message where I did authorized de order. As I told her to send me a copy of invoice, they also send a letter stating to pay by phone or fax copy of check, so in can keep the original. I suspected a fraud. Be careful with these people.

888-661-6954 called me on my NYC cell phone number on Oct 11th at 1:54pm 2010.  The lady on the line was speaking spanish.  I gave my cell phone to a spanish speaking coworker.  My coworker adivsed me they were looking to order chicken.  My coworked advised them they had the wrong number & to stop calling.

They call us all the time asking for the manager or administrator. They hang up when i said that he's not here.  Sometimes they ask for the address to send something or renew the course contract, I respond that we are not interest in anything of them, and we never make bussiness by phone.  SCAMMERS!!!!!

This number has been calling my husband bussiness saying they want to verify our information and then they send you a bill for 300.00. We don't even have an account with them and boy are the persistent. They pray on people who have bussinesses and are very busy to see if you give out information and take money from you. Please be careful.

I just got a call today from a lady named Maria Eugenia she said if we didn't pay they had a recording of us saying we renewed the contract huh? what contract lady lol anyway my husband put her in her place i hope she doesnt call anymore or next time it will get ugly over the phone. Just a bunch of scammers lookling to make a quick buck.
