Called me a few times. When I finally answered they told me they are Bank of America insurance department. Asked them to remove me from their list.
First of all guys this isn't Bank of America its a Third Party ( NCO Financial in New Brunswick, Canada ) contracted by another third party( Aegon in Plano, Texas ) to do their dirty work. Some how BOA put in a misleading option to click when filling out one of their applications, that allows them to send Telemarketers to you. You were supposed to click this option if you DIDN'T want solicitations. Legal, probably. Bad business, most diffidently. Good stuff BOA!! Anyway I have included some info about my search on this number, I should say numbers. If any of this info is incorrect please by all means correct me.
Before going any further call Bank of America Insurance Services Do not Call List - 800-448-2755, Stop letting these annoying fools get to you.

That 800-448-2755 number does, in fact, connect to Bank of America, and an automated service that supposedly opts you out of any of their telemarketing calls after 30 days. Be careful, though, because it was press 1 to get the calls, press 2 not to.
Tried calling the 800-448-2755 number today and received recorded message that my call did not go through. Called 2 more times to verify that I had dialed correct number.
I also called 1-800-448-2755 and opted out of the calls. Option 2 opts you out and then you have to confirm your number. Will take 30 days to take effect. THANKS for the helpful info on how to get these calls to stop!
I called the 1-800-448-2755 number and got a continuous ring(not a normal ring) with no one ever picking up. I called more than once to make sure I dialed correctly.
Yep, the calls are starting again... everyday, multiple times per day. I hate them. I hate the fact that we are practically powerless to stop these annoying scammers and telemarketers. Thanks Jsahd, indeed I added my number to the 'do not call' list AGAIN, but frankly I did that 3 months ago and the calls only slowed down, they have not ultimately stopped. People rise up and let's figure out a way together to stop this madness! Does any kind of residential phone system software exist where one could actually block certain numbers from even being received and connected in the first place? If not, someone could make a fortune inventing that!! I'd buy it and enter every phone number ever connected to scammers and telemarketers into it, and keep entering the new phone numbers as they occur. When they call me, the line would just go dead before it even rang through to me! It would be so amazing not having to waste my time dealing with these a-holes.
Most current phones or phone systems in the mid to upper price range have a block call feature. I couldnt get through to 800-448 2755, so I just blocked the call. The phone rings once on the call, but makes no connection. One downside, the number of calls that can be blocked are usually limited. Mine is 20.
Thank you for your in-depth information you have provided. I didn't know how I was going to stop the annoying at all hours phone calls from BOA. but thanks to you, (Jsahd) I called the DO NOT CALL LIST for BOA and in 30 days it's suppose to halt all calls. Whew! ~ thanks again :-)
Countrywide owned my mortgate. BofA bought them. No way did I ever opt in to any of these multiple times per day phone calls. When I answer, there's never anyone there. I just called the 800 number here and opted out. I hope it works.
Yes, the call won't go through so that I may report this harassment. The 1-800 number everyone else has posted no longer works for opting out. I am constantly bothered by these jerks. I finally asked them what the issue was and he hung up on me. If anyone else figures out a way to opt out, please post it- it'll save me and a million others from all this aggravation!
Login to Bankofamerica.com, type in "opt out" in the far upper right search bar. There you can set your preferences and hopefully these boneheads will stop calling, emailing, etc, etc, etc...good luck guys!
My number is already on the donotcall.gov list. This company calls me anyway. They got my number when they brought out my mortage company. The number above doesn't work anymore.
