- Staind_UndrwrYeah, me too!
- David| 16 replieswants interview from my resume?
- meg replies to David| 1 replygot the same message left on my answering machine. if it was for real they would have left a name to respond to and a company name.
- alias Me Too| 12 repliestoday Jan. 4th,2010, I too received a message on my answering machine regarding my 'good looking' resume and that I needed to call the 1-888-673-4109 number for an appt. sometime this week. After seeing posts here, online, I don't think I'll be calling this number. Pretty good scam if they're using our online resumes.....gotta watch who we call back now. Oh, btw, it was not a live person, but a recorded message left on my answering machine. I still have it.
- JustRuss| 1 replyCaller ID showed "1-972-200-9825" but got a "chiming" Robo-Call that mentioned my resume and calling the "888" number that everyone else has listed in this thread to "schedule an interview this week"...
Nothing gets my paranoia up like no name, a telephone number that you're asked to call when it doesn't match the C-ID and it's all automated.
"Yeah" they "really" want me in for an interview [the 972 number is out of Texas- looks like the 213 is out of California- it appears to be all over the map...]- Caller: Unknown
- HI| 1 replyGot the same call on my cell phone, however my phone never rang so no number ever showed on my caller id. So how they just went right to the voice mail, i'll never know.
- angelo replies to JustRussI got the same call came home from work and there it was, i was excited until no matter how many times i play the message i heard no company name. no matter where i looked no company name. And for those of us who did call on the recording no company name. (and no i did not talk to a person with a pulse)
- berealPlease Note:
If someone calls you to request an interview, make sure they leave a name, number, name of the company and position you applied for. This Most likely is a scam to probably get you and your personal info. I just received a voicemail from an autobot voice asking me to call the number. That is how I go this site. I google it. - JustRuss- More Follow-Up 1/5/10| 1 replyI took the plunge and called the number; fully ready for the implications...
Looks like Liberty National "Insurance" has a whole new game and it's going southernly/national.
Whomever "meg" is/was [4th person to respond in this list of people] she's correct- the person that answered was 'diplomatic' but to the point-
He had interview appointments available for "tomorrow" [trust me it's always for "tomorrow" with hard-sell types] and at odd, irrelevant times- oh, and at least 45+ miles away from my "area of influence".
I told the operator/assistant I had several other interviews and that without checking my "books" [aka: Google] I would have to call him back- he instead gave me a local number for some guy named Dan Dowling- who doesn't show up in the initial Google search.
Here's an example of the type of meat grinder Liberty national puts on it's revolving sales force from Rip Off Report:
I have to agree with everyone else here- if they don't say who they are in the robocall, don't even bother calling back.
JR - cv replies to alias Me TooI got the same voice mail just a few minutes ago...exactly the same. Plus I too need a job but too weird since I only applied to one place and its in my neighborhood. Not Texas from the location of the number on caller ID...972-200-9825
- S| 2 repliesI received this call as well (Florida) Jan 5 at 7:23PM. Came in as Private Caller so we didn't pick up but they left the number 888-673-4109 on the machine. I was surprised that a message was left this time. Same thing others reporting here. Want to interview me but I am self employed and have no resumes out there, anywhere. No identifying information so I googled it and found this site and the info. I just dropped my Liberty Mutual insurance a week ago so when my rep calls to find out why I'll be sure to ask why they are harrassing so many people with this scam.

- BGGot this same exact phone call and message, but caller ID on cell phone said RESTRICTED.I do not answer Restricted or UNAVAILABLE numbers nor do I respond to voicemails that don't give company names or locations.
- PVASGot the same message on my machine.
I can tell you as someone who hires for my current employer, we leave a name, company name, position the person applied for and a return phone number.
My concern is they posted a management position on a web sight that was not as it presented itself. - JuledoveI received the call today (1/5/2010) around 5:30 PM. The call was a recording just like everyone else. I find it pretty creepy and I wish I had never posted my resume on Hotjobs. It wasn't until I did that I started getting all sorts of scammers contacting me about jobs! Don't do it if you haven't!
- TDid you guys see that? If you Google this number a couple of listings for cars will come up! It says that if you are interested in said vehicles to call Bryan Anderson at this number ((888)673-4109)! These guys are reaching hard for something and someone's information! These people called me with the same message, and I always look up numbers I don't know.. I am sure glad this website is out there!
- Caller: ScammersPlus?
- Being Aware replies to alias Me TooI also got the "call". My answering machine also left a 972-200-9825 number the call was from. The "call" back number computerized number 888-673-4109. I'm not calling any of those numbers. Do not put your address On your resume. Of course do not give out S.S #, account info, etc.
- Laura L.I have had the same experiences, but my call came from 972-200-9825 and asked me to call the 888 number to schedule an interview.
- Caller: Liberty National Insurance
- Lori| 1 replyRecvd a voice msg from 972-200-9825 recvd me resume and to call 888-673-4109 to sked a interview. Times are hard to find a job, but come on NO company or person's name... no thank you not interested
- MSRI got this call as well, no company name, no contact name, they left a message wanting me to call 888-673-4109 (# on CID was 972-200-9825) to set an appt. for an interview. I never called, figured it was a scam and probably from Liberty Nat'l Insurance. Ever since I posted my resume on line Liberty Nat'l Insurance has been, non-stop, trying to set up an interview with me. I looked them up on line and they seem like a crap company wanting sales people. Sales is not my forte'.
