They keep calling my cell phone and its always a recorded messages for mortgage modifications, refinance to lower rate, credit repair etc. Wish I could do something about it.

this guy is kept calling me even i told him i filed a bk. and i told  him why you guys didnt show up at court now you kept calling me.

This guy calls my mother's house and leaves a message that he has papers to serve on me for a bad check.  Here's the problem I am in Alabama and m mother is in Ohio.  Need to know who this is.

I get the same sort of recorded call, different names a couple of times, same thing says I wrote a bad check, NEVER...the account is closed because I was a fraud victum, I have left them messages saying if they need something to do find who abused me!! If there was really papers I would have been served by now they started calling me 2 weeks ago. Has anyone ever spoketo a real person?

Man left a message, stating he was Howard Thomas, that he needed to serve me legal papers for bad checks. Since he could not contact me he would be serving documents either to my residence or place of employment. Left the following number: 888-688-9470.

I got a call from the same company telling me that i took out a payday loan with Oasis marketing and they had people out in the field that will be serving me with papers at my home or place of employment. I told him to make sure he mails out a debt verification letter which is required by law and any other paperwork. He hung up on me.

He calls here with a recorded message (Howard Thomas) and says he is going to serve me with papers regarding a bad check.  He even says he is going to come to my place of business.  I called back and got a company called Johnson York and the rude operator hung up on me and when I tried calling again they let it ring and didn't answer.

What a pain they are.

I received the same call "robot" stating his name was Howard Thomas and that he is going to service with papers and that I need to call 888-688-9470. I called this number to see who the heck they were and why they were calling. I reached an "Angela Smith" @ ext 202 who stated that I had 3 outstanding payday loans that I needed to be paid or I was being taken to court. I asked who they were through & she was unable to tell me 2 of them. The other one was a payday loan that I actually have documentation for (as I have had 20+ of these [***] calling me for the same PAID OFF payday loan trying to get money out of me). She was very rude & loud when I asked her for her companies license number as the state that I currently live in requires companies to be licensed within the state to collect/obtain debts. She then told me that they (Johnson York, LLC// www.JohnsonYork.com) is a mediation company & not a collection company. Upon looking through their website there are a series of misspellings (my attorney stated that when you look at these websites and there are misspellings everywhere that is a good indication that they are a scam). She began to get loud and I told her that I wasn't done with my questions and that I needed their physical address (which their website will not give nor a mailing address). She gave me an address but failed to leave out the Suite# so when I researched the building, I could not find their business at that location. I also asked for proof of debt as I have the right to ask that and she started otherwise screaming at me stating that she is not a collections agency so she doesn't have to. I told her that she does and that I will not be sending anything to here. She stated that's fine we will see you in court. I told her to do that and called her a [***] and hung up LOL! I could care less I know that I don't owe anything and I know my rights. This place is a real piece of work & so are the people that work there. I pulled up their information & their job listing which is hysterical, anyone can work there because its a glorified call center! They act like they are almost attorneys, etc. But when they first called me she sounded like she was on a cell phone. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

These people have called me for at least 6 months asking for a Lisa Hopkins. Its a recorded message and when I call the number they provide it says all agents are busy assisting other customers and goes to voicemail. There is no one by the name Lisa Hopkins that lives here. It is really getting annoying and I just want it to stop.

I received the same call as the above states. I told them please serve me and I would meet them at our local NYS Troopers' HQ. The number which they called me from was 000-000-0000 after that they called my cell at 1-888-476-4162.

I received a message on my cell phone from Jeff Easley.  He stated that he tried to reach me to serve some papers but was unable so he will have the papers served to my place of business or residence.  The number on my cell phone was 0000000000, but the call back number he left was 1-888-519-1377.  When I call that number I, the name of the company is Johnson York.  I spoke to someone about the file number that Jeff Easley left and she stated that I owed money to United Cash Advance for a bad check and that I was being sued for bank fraud.  I have never had a loan with that company.  I asked her to prove that I owed money and she stated that she couldn't.  I told her that I didn't take a loan out with that company and she said yes you did. She said my SSN, Bank's name and my email and mailing addresss.  I restated over and over and over again that I didn't have a loan with that company and she just said yes you did.  Then she said that I can dispute it all I want, but the account processor would be issuing court papers to me shortly then hung up on me.  After awhile I called her back and she said the same thing. I did find out that they are in Seattle, WA.  Then we hung up.  She then called my place of employment and wanted our fax number to send a verficiation of employment form for Candiace Gordon to be filled out and returned to them.  I told her I was Candiace Gordon and I asked her who she was with and she wouldn't tell me then she hung up.  This is a scam!!!!!

The exact same thing happened to me! The people there are EXTREMELY RUDE and will give you no information. They are breaking the law is soooo many ways! It is a total scam. At least I am not alone out there..... Thanks for posting the information!

The number I got was 888-699-9726 who told me I had a pay day loan with their company and I called cash oasis who informed me there was no record of me having a loan with their company .The loan was in Ala. I live in Ga. it is against the law to write a pay day loan for Ga. residents. they gave me 4 hours to pay the loan or they were serving me with legal/cival action .

Call from 414-431-4647 stated I had a payday loan with Oasis. I never had a loan with this company; it was a fraud. The loan was not even real. Toll free # is 888-699-9726. The contact # is 414-431-4647.

The scary part is she has your social security number and place of employment!!!  Wow.  I would call your state's attorney general's office and report them.
