This is an automated call from VERIZON!  If you've recently made any changes to your VERIZON account or requested a temporary pin number or any other business with VERIZON this is their automated notification and verification system.  This is an automated call from VERIZON!!!

How do you get them to stop!! Called Verizon this morning for another reason.  Ended up making a couple changes to our long distance service.  I have had 4 calls since and all of them say that it is to confirm the address change to our account. I've called Verizon and there was no address change, just the service change. They said the calls are automatically generated and they can't do anything about them. I just want the calls to stop!!

Just cancelled Verizon service by end of month, got this call -- no message, no one on end of line.

Do they not get that the reason I cancelled is exactly because of incidents like this...?  How completely oblivious to public relations can Verizon get?

I cancelled two land lines and two wireless accounts today.  I cancelled the two land lines because we're moving, and then cancelled the two wireless accounts because it took me so bloody long to get the farm animals who answer their customer service lines to figure out how to cancel service.

Hey -- I've got more money than God -- I'd rather buy out two wireless contracts and switch my business to another carrier than ever have to deal with these knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing troglodytes again.

Do they comb the planet for the dumbest, rudest people ever born to populate their call centers?  What is up with that?  They are the case study for everything wrong with customer service since the dawn of time.

Got the same automated call. I call verizon and they stated it was not them and any calls from them would would be a live person. The only automated would be when you called them at first.

This calls are stating we changed our password which is not true and posible phishers. Be carefull just hang up and if you have notice any thing wrong with your Verizon service call them right away and fill a report with them and they will help you out.

Just called - again! Jesus, I made one change to my phone on Tues (3 days ago) and they have to call me 2, 3 times a day??

I answered yesterday and it was an automated message about my change - that if 'i did not authorize it call Verizon'. Ok, I didnt call, means I authorized it. I tried to call them last night to quit it...had to go through their slew of menu options only to be on hold for 20 min, until I just hung up. Their internet site is not helpful..more of a cluttered mess plus it has issues on my Safari browser.

They are getting worse in general. I've received calls from them multiple times on their free limited time preview of their premium movie channels. Tell them "not at this time", they call again 3 weeks / month later.

..and yes another thing. WHY doesn't the name "Verizon" show up on the ID? A big legit company providing this type of service I would think add that. Instead of me ignoring it (no message on voice mail) and having to come to a site like this to find out who it is.

By the way, thank you for this site..it's helped me many times.
