It said "Bell Canada" on the caller display, but I didn't answer it. I suspect it's the billing department.

Personal note: Unprofessional service and pushy telemarketing tactics gives me a suspicious feeling about the origins of this caller, i.e. not Bell.

I did not answer the call. But on my voice mail all I could hear was a big sigh.

These people call at my house every morning, but never leave any messages...must be salespeople...as usual! :(

It's the second time I get call by these peoples. The first time I was so pissed off because the guy was so insulting that I asked my phone # to be put out of their marketing list. Another guy phoned me back 3 months later, presenting himself as Videotron first and telling me that I was paying too much so he had to come at my house and reduce my fees. He told that he called me 5-10 days ago about it and I said yes, and if I didn't remembered, it was probably because I was amnesic !! At the end, He told me he was from bell !!?? And that I should be interested by their services.

I called bell general phone to see if this number was really one of their telemarketing and complain big time about it, but the guy never could answer if it was theirs or not (too much sub-contractor he said).

So, Since the guy presented himself with a false company name, then insulted me, then really wanted to come to my house, now I have doubts about if it was not a scam and this was not "fraudulus" ...

they call every week, once or twice or three times a week: they say all the time its Telus and they want to sell me cell phones. I asked them to delete me from their calling list and they confirmed me they deleted my number BUT only in 30 days (!!!) they said it takes 30 days to get totally deleted from their stupid list and the guy told me that i just have to hang up if they keep on calling during the month. I was so insulted please make them stop!!!!!!!

Most telemarketers and any agency are working inside jails now, and some of criminal doing time and so they waist time dialing phone numbers, and if they get lucky.
Those criminal are stressed, and are seeking for sexy young voices Male/Female or young child to fantasize about, and chat to.... anyway use your imagination.
The person could be murderer, child molester, rapist or/and.

Yes; most the times those calls are coming from inside prisons; the criminals are fishing for times, It’s mean you.
If they get jack-pot, the problem it’s after fact; if they did not get rejected by you, they pass the number around in the prison and cell-mate to harass you.
Eventually one of these prisoners become a stalker, and never leaves you alone.
Remember, if they know more about you they become more powerful. For an example; blackmailing.

Please be careful with whom are you dealing with, Do not ever give your ID and/or phone numbers, addresses to any stranger on the phone, no matter what. Your life will be destroy and burn down.

Even if the person says that they are calling straight from the company, ask for the number, and tell them you’ll call them back right way.
The phony person hangs up on you or the number may not exist when you call them back.
Please just be careful dog eat dog.

The only option left, Bell Canada has dial *57 right away, same time conversation it automatically records, free of cost, the callers number and sends it to the neighborhood police station and OPP, as a report of harassment, and they will investigate, but you have to report this matter right way with your prove *57.

This has to stop..................Bell Canada does not provide crazy services.  Report it to the Police by using *57.

That was a call from Bell Canada marketing dept to try to win me back.  I cancel all my service from them 2 years ago to go with Videotron.

I got a call from 888-705-2355 and i didn't answer, no one left a message, when i called back it was a recorded message from Bell Canada. Another boring telemarketing call from Bell to offer services I don't need, and probably gonna cost more in the end, than what they say, like it always happen whith Bell. They got a poor service with hidden costs.

They (Bell apparently) Call me .. 5-6-7 times a f***ing day! I'm seriously loosing it! I have the right mind to sue this stupid company! This is pure harassment!!! They even call on SUNDAY! Who calls sunday???? They call at lunch too! This is also my music studio,, a job you know?? WHY do they call at jobs??? :( so stressed out...

I too kept receiving these calls.  They would hang-up when I'd answer.  I work shift work and was becoming extremly irritated by these degenerates.  I called the number, got the Bell recording, then I was able to speak to someone directly on 2 occasions.  Each time, the person was ignorant.
I phoned Bell.  I gave them the number, they DO NOT have this listed as their own.  I suggested they look into it as there is someone out there impersonating Bell and giving them a bad name.  She was to do it immediately.
Be it overcontracting out or not, hopefully Bell will bring this to an end!
Hopefully this will be rectified sooner rather than later!

J'ai reçu plusieurs appels depuis les deux dernières semaines en provenance de ce numéro. Hier, 13 octobre 2008, à 16h11m, j'ai répondu et la ligne a été subitement coupée. À chaque appel, mon afficheur a indiqué Bell Canada comme étant l'auteur de ces appels!

Même problème, je reçois des appels 2 fois par jour depuis 2 ou 3 semaines.  Je n'ai jamais répondu et ils commencent à appeler tard le soir... très tard.

Jai eu la même afaire ! Il mapellerais toujours quand jétais toute seule je suis une jeune ados . Jai peur c'est la maison a mon ami ! Il me disais que jétais belle et que jétais vilaine et quil étais mon grand pere mais mes 2 grand pere son mort ! =S Je trouve que ca fait peur je l'ai est dénoncé a la police et jai remarquer quil apelais toujours depuis 1 mois ... mais le jour quil ma dit quil étais mon grand pere je l'ai dénoncé ! Et quand jai rapeller au numéro il mon dit que sétais bell mais nous somme pas abonné a ca ! Tka jespere que sa va arreter ... Je nes rien faite pour mériter cela !

Aussi il avais une voix [***] ... Un acen espaniol je crois !

One shall say that I am not the only one to receive from calls(appeals) of this number of these jerks. Every dayz I am tanned!!! XD

You need to call at 1 866-580-3625 to never receive telemarketing call or to make a complaint
