Finally answered -- they are ARS, American Residential Services trying to promote EAS Efficient Attic Systems, which they just acquired.  They called 5 times!

This number is calling my home number without any response when answering.  It repeats calling and I want it to stop.

Just got one myself...Annoying to have SALES calls made to your cell phone...

I had an estimate for Radiant Barrier over a year ago from EAS Efficient Attic Systems, and chose not to make the purchase. Now I am getting phone calls every other day from 888-710-0813. When I answer no response is made and then the automated call just hangs up! This needs to stop as I am not buying their product. This disruption wakes up my baby when the phone rings unnecessairly!!

I just called EAS at (888) 502-8842 and told them, they are supposed to take me off the call list. So if it works, it seems pretty simple (fingers crossed)

I missed the call and added it to my block list.

I called this number back and got a message that my call was being forwarded to Efficient Attic Systems. ?????? I don't even have an attic. I live in a condo.

I have been receiving repeated calls from this number, and also from a local Houston number for ARS. The majority of them are hawking some new service, the ones from the toll free number there is no one on the line when I answer.
I called the local houston office, told them I wanted them to stop calling me on my cell phone. They stated they would remove my number from their call list.
Will report back if I continue to get calls from either 888-710-0813 or 713-777-7777 (houston local number for ARS)

They called my cell phone too, ticked me off as I have a very low number of minutes remaining.

Send an email to CustomerCareMail@ars.com  and tell them you want your phone number put on their  “Do Not Solicit” list.  

I did this through their website and they promptly responded and assured me they would do so.

I received a call from this number but no message left.....I just changed my home number to an unlisted number. Because of harassing calls; I recorded my answering machine message with this: "The number you have called is on the government DO NOT CALL list;therefore, it is NOT telemarketer friendly, nor accepts 800 numbers! I understand that you as the caller are doing your job but it is also your job to stop calling when the request has been made. If there is legitimate reasons for your call and you need a return call from me; you must leave your reason for the call, identify yourself and your company and provide a call back number." I don't give my name on the message.

I know it is lengthy but it stopped calls for a while until the threatening ones started which were NOT legit.....another scam....

I presume you pay extra $$$/month for an unlisted number. And to the very phone companies that enabled this telemarketing nightmare in the first place. Smacks of blackmail, doesn't it?

ARS is a reliable company, but this is one way they market their products and services.  Their calls are annoying, but if you need something they sell, they are a good company to deal with.

This is about the fourth time I have received blitz telemarketing calls 1 or more each day for several days in a row, each time I have reminded the caller that I am on the government "do not call list", that I have "opted out" of sharing info among related companies, and that I have requested to speak to a supervisor in customer service, each time I have been assured that I will be taken off the list and not called again, each time I have done this the calls have accelerated with 2 or more calls each day for the next few days, I am in Austin, TX. Have generally been pleased with the service provided by ARS (Plumbing, HVAC). Today I instructed ARS to cancel my HVAC service contract, and will no longer do business with them.
