- SamiSame, how do they get your work number, it keeps calling, saying to call this is not whatever, number shows as "unknown. World Financial Something Bank
- lindaSame scenario as listed by the above posts. Call comes up as unknown or restricted. World Financial Something is what they say in the message. Important that I call back but when I call back I get the same recording that the offer is not available at this time and please call back later. I've gotten this call 3 times in the last month.

- linda| 1 replyI've gotten quite a few calls from this number so I entered it into my cell phone with the contact name of "Harassing phone" and made the ring silent as suggested in previous posts. Well I got another call from them yesterday. The name they left was World Financial Network Bank and they left a different phone number to call. This time the last 4 are 6664. I haven't called it yet - I'm sure it will say the offer has expired etc. I'm going to call my cell phone company and see if they can do anything. I haven't looked at my cell phone bill - but I'm sure it will just be listed as restricted since this is how it appears on the caller ID. If anyone finds out how to stop this please post.

- linda replies to lindaJust got another call from 888-724-6667. Same as all the other calls with the message that was left and of course when I called it back I got the recording that the "credit card" offer was no longer available. I thought by adding the number as a contact with a silent ring tone that the calls would not get through anymore. I finally called my cell phone carrier and they blocked the phone number - hope this helps. My concern is that it might be a scam that will somehow eat up my cell phone minutes. The person I spoke with at the cell phone company said that it might be a possibility.
- LynnIt's Newport News, Signature Styles, Spiegel, Shapefx, AB Lambdin or Carabella credit cards. Not sure what other catalogs are under this umbrella.
- joe lukaswhat I think they are doing is having the computer make random calls.. and whoever calls back, that number is sold off as a good number to call for telemarketers.

- Sandie1-888-724-6667 comes up as Private Caller and state they are with Wells Fargo. I am calling Wells Fargo now, hopefully if I can get through the automated robocall, to tell them of this instance. When you call that number it simply states, Thank you for the call but that particular credit card program is no longer available." They call my home a lot and I am on the National Do Not Call Registry so that doesn't work too well does it? This is a new number for me for about a month but no one has had this number for almost two years so it should not be for a former holder of my home number either.
- Caller: Private Caller (States Wells Fargo)
- RussReceived a voice message on my home phone in a british lady's voice that left 888 724-6667 as the call back number. She identified the call as being from World Financial Network National Bank. The voice was clearly a recorded message from a computer based dialing system. My caller ID stored the call as being from INTERNATIONAL with a number of 818 304-2156.

- Bob StaatsID message indicated it was World Financial Bank about a personal matter and not a sales call. When I returned call the message asked for my 16 digit account number?? Just some sort of scam and will be ignoring from now on.
Anyone knowing how to black please advise.- Caller: World Financial Bank
- StacyGot this number today.. came in as blocked.. tried to call back...went to a recording... looks like BBB should get involved and protect us.. Just my two cents worth.

- kris3186Just received a call and voice mail from an unknown number, however, the message was from Comenity Bank saying to call them back at 888.724.6667 on a matter of personal importance. I looked it up here, of course, and am surprised to see this same number attached to so many different companies! I do have various store credit cards issued by Comenity Bank, but they are all up-to-date on payments so that can't be the reason they are calling me. Oh, and they called me from another number this morning. This one was listed as Denver, CO, but they didn't leave a message.
I never answer unknown or unrecognized numbers. Nor do I respond back to vague voice mails.- Caller: Comenity Bank
- AndrewHave now received two calls from them, both came up as restricted. I let one got to voicemail and answered one. Both were a recording and said different banks. The one today said "Humana Bank and I need to call them back as it's important and to call 888-724-6667. Scam all the way like others said.
- Caller: Humana Bank/Other Banks
